I really like this unit but a few suggestions for Jayco. Move the TV to the wall near the slide out and bathroom (shorten the slide out by 6” if needed). Use a slim two burner cooktop to allow for more counter room. Maybe drop the microwave under the cooktop. Add a flip up counter next to sink.

I love this when it came out just one major issue there is absolutely zero absolutely no space for food pantry storage anywhere. NONE.. Even other tiny RVs have better storage. I can't believe they haven't fixed this. I love all the person doing this is acting like there's a ton instead of being honest

I hear you for sure. I watched this back after your comment and I don't think Chris is intentionally trying to be misleading. I do believe there is pretty decent overall storage for an RV this size, especially given the fact the bottom bunk flips up. However, as you pointed out, there isn't much storage for pantry goods. You're almost stuck using the storage under the dinette for food which is far from ideal. Kitchen storage is a serious issue in most small RV's. If you have pantry storage, then you're missing pots and pans storage. If you have pots and pans storage, you don't have a place for plates and bowls, etc. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree with you and think a few things could be improved and tweaked in this RV to allow for some more kitchen storage. Anyway, sorry for the rant and thanks for listening! -Ian Baker

Any concerns about cargo carry capabilities? I wish more would build it with the overlander 2 option. Heated tanks should be 12V, not 120. Nice rig though. Love the double bunks.

Hi There! The cargo carrying capacity for this model is 1,240 pounds, up a little from the 2023 model. And it does offer that Overlander 2 Solar package as an optional upgrade. Here's the manufacturer's site: www.jayco.com/rvs/travel-trailers/2024-jay-feather-micro/199mbs/# And a link to where you can check our nationwide inventory for this model: rv.campingworld.com/product/jayco/jay-feather-micro/199mbs Hope that helps! - Tucker Ballister

Aluminum floor frames?
@campingworld
@campingworld 6 месяцев назад
Hi There! Thanks for your patience in awaiting a response. I reached out to the manufacturer and here's their answer: The Micro floor is a 2” vacuum-bond laminated floor consisting of aluminum framing with 2# foam insulation, which is super important for strength & structural integrity. The framing is bonded to 1/4” Lauan paneling top & bottom and the bottom layer is wrapped with a water resistant, cross-bonded material called Darco. Micro has a covered underbelly with a forced heat duct into the tank area and has been Climate Shield certified. Hope that helps, but let us know if you have any follow up questions! - Tucker Ballister

Too bad. it's not Model Y friendly!

For sure. Unfortunately it's very difficult to get an RV with a slide that is Model Y towable. This is a nice one though! -Ian Baker

This is not the lightest, nerd! 166 is lighter.

You are absolutely correct. In fact, the 199 is the heaviest in the Micro lineup. What I believe Chris was trying to say is that the Micro line, offers the lightest travel trailers among all Jayco lines. Which in all fairness, is still not entirely true as the SLX offers the lightest ones. ALL that to say, yes, you are correct, lol. -Ian Baker
