2024 Jayco Redhawk 29XK | Huge Living Area! 

I bought the 2021 Jayco Redhawk 29XK Class C RV new and it's exactly like this one....except mine has the 3-way refrigerator. I upgraded the Toliet, navigation system, changed all the outside compartment locks, added a dishwasher, added back out curtains to separate the cab from the living and added a curtain for the living area door too. I LOVE this RV very much. I rarely extend the slide, it's not needed as I'm solo and it's plenty of space even with the slide in.

I really liked the modern furnishings inside. "Pass the green beans!" 😄

Nice rig! When you say that "they listen...", they should probably be watching some of the "RV Renovations" that some folks are doing. I've been watching quite a few, and I was amazed at how much dead space they're finding, and are able to utilize once it's been reconfigured. Some are small tweeks, and some are not. But you'd be amazed at the ingenuity of some folks. Love your tour videos! ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎

Dual A/C on 30A service. I had a 1997 Fleetwood Pace Arrow vision 36B. 37 foot long class A with 2 slides and 2 A/C units on 30A service. It struggled to keep that size of a RV cool, if I put both units on high cool it was constantly load shedding one, really annoying. If I put one A/C on High and one on Low it seemed to run both of them smoother. It really was not that much of a nuisance since I was full timing in it and we weren't on generator power that often. On the road we usually only needed one of the A/C units running on high at a time anyways. A 30A service should keep a unit of this size much cooler as 1 A/C probably would keep it cool through most of the year anyways. Here is the problem, the microwave. Every time you need to operate the microwave it better turn one of those A/C units completely off, the management system in that 1997 unit did not work very well, we had several sections of wiring that got very hot over the years. After burning up several plugs and noticing sections of wire that were discolored from heat, I disconnected an A/C unit and ran a heavy extension cord from it directly to a plug on the service panel. It is not worth the headache of potential problems, an RV with 2 A/C units should have a 50 amp service if it has a microwave in it LOL. Not to mention plugging any other 12-15a appliance like a hair drier in!!!!!

Use this for track weekends 😍 put a set of wheels in the rear storage. Man, this is gorgeous.

Really enjoying your videos Mike. We're about 3 hours south of you and plan to get a motorhome possibly towards the end of the year. We really like the design on this one; large counter-top with nice view out, the positioning of the bed with no need to deploy the slide, two ACs on 30A, the huge storage out back, the larger shower with a solid base, the JRide. We don't even mind the plastic toilet and basic fan, those can be upgraded easily. I would've liked to see the hot water recirculation system on the shower, also a larger fresh water and propane tanks, something like 55 gal and 60 lbs. Of course, everything in the RV world is a compromise. Thanks for the video!

In the bedroom, why don't they put in 2 wireless chargers, I can't imagine couples only having 1 cell phone.

Several manufactures are installing 120V in cabinet above bed w/ opening for CPAP units. That would be helpful.

I love, love this unit except for one feature. The absence of a pantry makes it a dealbreaker for me. There were 3 or so cabinets that could’ve held a trash can. Perhaps space could’ve been found for a narrow pantry pullout there? The B+ gang does a lot of these space saving skinny pantries and a couple of them, including LTV, had to get creative and have designed a shorter pullout below the countertop in one of their models. I know, trade offs. At the end of the day there’s a finite space. All in all a very excellent start for Jayco in 2024!

Hi Mike, I'm interested in 26M but some of my questions also apply to the model in this video. (1) You mention the 42x80 u-dinette only has 72" of sleeping length. Is that correct? I was hoping it would be more like 76" with side cushions removed. (2) What is sleep length of overhead bunk considering cupholders on side? (3) You mention the A/C has soft start. Can a single 15k A/C be run off inverter? (4) Are stock batteries maintenance-free? (5) Is there an option to upgrade to lithium batteries and get privacy curtain around murphy bed in 26M? Sorry for all the questions!

Nice big shower doesn’t matter if the toilet area is child-sized, and that “cabinet” with-no shelves- is more like a picture frame.and wouldn’t be wide enough for pill bottles, lotion, toothpaste shaving cream, etc. It looks like I have to climb on the bed to reach the single-sized wardrobe? No drawers? That’s not really a full walk around bed. I would trade a smaller fridge for a small slideout pantry for a few canned goods and cheerios boxes. Also, to block off the heat from the cab area, they could just put up a couple of drapery rod hooks up next to the bunk to hang a curtain because if you’re facing the sun the cab becomes a furnace. Need more lady designers👵

This is really nice except what’s up with that dime store fart fan in the bathroom. They must be trying to save a buck or two or they got a great deal from the china fart fan company. Install a nice one and charge accordingly. I must have missed this was there storage under the dining booth?? And why only one towel thing one the wall what’s up with that. Is there a door to close the shower from the front of the RV. For guests etc.

Need to find a way to put a stacked washer/dryer not a one piece but a stack in a unit then it would be perfect. Older people can't haul clothes to laundry mats

I really liked everything about it. Except for one thing, I did not see any privacy doors to separate personal space when you're taking a shower, you would like to have a door so you're not putting on a show for anybody that might be staying with you. Or even just trying to change clothing, there needs to be some type of doors to divide private areas and not just the bathroom.
