2024 Jeep Wrangler NOT SELLING - Greedy Dealers Are DONE 

Jeep needs to go back to building simple, reliable, affordable vehicles rather than luxury school buses.

If they started making quality, reliable and affordable products people would buy them

Jeep has never made anything worth more than 40k. All of these car companies have gotten so greedy it’s sickening. People need to stop paying these prices and let the damn things set there until the paint fades. Let the dealerships close! They’re all liars and have no integrity. They’ve been screwing people long enough they deserve to go under.

The problem with Jeep is that it’s a Chrysler product. Major repairs in the future. I’m a Jeep guy but would not buy one

Good lord I had no idea they were charging this much. I thought 4Runners were overpriced but at least a 4Runner is comfortable enough to be a daily driver and the quality is unmatched. I’d expect those prices he showed to be half what they are

I'd take that $70,000 and go straight to the Lexus dealer to get myself a Lexus GX460...slightly used one, of course... or I could get a 4 year old Toyota Landcruiser...... a brand new Lexus RX or BMW X5....or that Acura MDX... so many options...😅😅😅

Take $20,000 off the MSRP then it's getting reasonable... BMW pricing at your local CDJR dealer.

I just got rid of my 2021 Rubicon. If you are not using them for off-road use they are not practical. The 4 Xe’s are a joke. The fuel economy is negligible. Most if not all Wrangler owners would not have one. Stellantis has destroyed Jeeps customer base. Just wait them out, they will be taking a hair cut on them.

In 2019 I bought a loaded Wrangler Sahara ($58K msrp) and had no problem getting a $10K discount.. Worst piece of junk, it sat at dealer service for 2 months. Sold it. Never again will I buy a CDJR product. Never.

In Las Vegas, they got 22% off MSRP so they’re not selling here either with like 20 grand discounts

I’m surprised that the gladiators haven’t been discontinued yet. I don’t think they will be around much longer based on their plummeting sales figures.

If you want a jeep wrangler, just get a 20 year old one as a vehicle to mess around with on the weekends. They are not daily drivers, are not worth half of what they charge, quality is the worst

I genuinely used to wonder WHO are the people buying the overpriced stock? Mind you, not MY OPINION, as in: "these car prices are ridiculous" overpriced. I'm talking the dealer is literally adding an arbitrary 10k of 20k to the MSRP plus various questionable dealer installed itemized upgrades OVERPRICED. Are they flippers? Are they all wall Street bankers with bonuses burning a whole in their pockets? Then i learned that isn't the case. The majority are just bored losers signing their life away for almost a decade to try to look cool going to Costco. These guys would later make videos about how they are selling such and such and downsizing or make up an excuse while the previously "must have" vehicle no longer "serves" them. "My kid is two now, so we're going to need to..." Did he not consider that with the kid was one years old? Unfortunately, these types have emboldened dealers and have distorted the market for people with brains and Patience.

Tried to buy one 3 weeks ago. They just wouldnt deal. Rather than take an immediate 20% plus depreciation once I took it off the lot I bought a used one since the market is gonna continue to dump for many months to come. Remember msrp has risen 50% in 5 years so 20% off doesnt mean much.

The Hornet is a modern-day Nitro or even Neon that is being priced out at 50k+...wtf.

I just looked at one here in San Diego, they wanted over 60k, no dealing. I left and got a used 2021 for 39k and it was loaded with 25k mileage.

I'm at a Jeep dealership in NC. We are offering 10% off MSRP, and they still aren't moving. It's time to get out of the car business, at least a Stellantis dealership.

If you want an affordable Wrangler, you have to order one. I bought a brand new 2023 Willys sport, 2dr, soft top with a 6spd manual, 3.6l v6 for 36k. I drive it every day and I love it. Its nothing fancy but it has a lot of the off-road goodies that come with the Willys package. No regrets.

Back in 83, I bought a brand new chesnut brown CJ 7 Soft top with hard doors for about 26k out in Onterio CA. There were no trail rated badges on it ,but I took that jeep on all kinds of off road trails, even to it cross country to NY. Ran like a top, had a strait 6 engine. The only issue I had was to replace my outside drivers mirror. Wish I still had it !! I think AMC owned Jeep back then

HOW does Stellantis not realize they’ve overbuilt these Wranglers? When you have dealers with 400-500 day supply then something should tell you that there’s a problem. Not to mention the ridiculous pricing on these Jeeps.

I wish they would make a two door Gladiator. It could have a proper bed and a departure angle useable off road. It would look proportional and pretty sick with a lift. I would buy one if it was under $50k.

Both my Jeep Rubicon wranglers have been awesome. Reliable, fun to drive and unbelievably capable off-road! Love them!

JEEP just lowered their prices. FIAT/Stellantis tried to market JEEP as an upscale brand. But, it's not. Hopefully, the damage can be undone. JEEPs are not as reliable as they used to be.

There's a serious problem with Jeep. The average factory Jeep cost $65k. Then you have to spend another $60k in modifications to make it trail worthy. It's a hype where a lot of people are making a lot of money off of you because they made RU-vid videos showing you the great popularity of rock crawling and overlanding. So go! Fix your new Jeep into an expensive monster truck, so you can wreck it on the trails and bring it back to them to repair it. Do you see the vicious cycle?

I bought my 2012 JKUR Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon fully loaded with every possible option for 40k CAD and now 12 years later they are double the price. LIKE WTF? I thought 40k was pricey, but 75-85k for the same vehicle is absolute insanity. Anyone that pays these elevated prices needs to give their head a shake and wake the f up. All these dealers need a reality check. Stop buying new and leave them on the lots.

In 2019 I bought wife her 1st ever new car. For out 26th anniversary. I figured if she could be with me that long she deserves it. So she wants a new Escalade or Expedition. I.say he'll know. You have a 30k budget... lol image now 5 years later. She would get nothing. Lol so she picked a Jeep Cherokee. And it was 32k so I did it. Sun roof. Leather everything. It was loaded. I sold the jeep in March of 23 for 26k to carvanna. But 18k down on a 23 telluride and that jeep was better. By far but wanted a 3rd row for the grandweens... also a 10 year warranty on motor and Trans. 5 year on most everything else. I almost let her get a gladiator for 52 k instead of the telluride. In 2011 I bought a 2 door Wrangler brand new Sport for 28k it was well equipped and priced correctly. No jeep is worth 60k other than maybe a fully restored CJ7. Stellantis prices are 50 to 60% too high and in some cases its higher than that and its why they aren't selling anything. Wrangler base price should be 25k with the high trim in the 40's.

you should include the 17-20,000 in rebates ,but even with rebates their still over priced - I had 13 wranglers that I bought with EP pricing and traded every year for a new 1 keys for keys than covid hit,13 new jeeps never losing a penny trading in at a jeep dealership, now everything is messed up=free money cause it at zero rates,and even at zero rates the US government is dead broke-cant pay 1 penny of principle back of that 35 trillion-wait till we hit a recession-will go straight to a depression 2 years

Dodge hornet should be 18 to 22 grand and the wrangler should be 20 to 30 grand

Can't trade because trade values are in the schitter, interest rates are still high, all these discounts are great if you're paying cash, which would be the best option.

I was a 100% Jeep guy, in the 90's my 1st Jeep was a CJ7, bought used and cheap (maybe 2-3K) just out of high school, later got a used YJ (under 5k). In 2002 I could finally afford a brand new Jeep TJ for a whopping 19k, drove it 13 years and traded up for a brand new 2015 JK for 24k. What happened from 2015 to present day?!?!?! 50k, 60k, 70k and over $$$ for a Jeep?!?! Not worth it, they truly lost a Jeep customer for life with these ridiculous and greedy prices! Traded my 2015 JK for a car and quite happy now!

I'm in the market for a pull behind tow vehicle for my RV in my retirement. I have the money. But I'm not paying what they are asking. Either is everyone else. I will probably get a ford bronco . They are more comfortable. Plus how now who is going to own jeep next year. They aren't making good business decisions these days. Good luck jeep!

The TJ ‘s & JK’s were the best Jeeps, IMO. Just enough technology to make them better off roaders and they were affordable. Problems began with the JL’s. Problems with the technology, quality control issues, corrosion, and MSRP’s plus dealer markups making them unaffordable for the majority of potential customers. Basically, Stellantis is the problem. Their attempt to turn Wranglers into Range Rovers is blowing up in their face. Go back to basics and price them where they are affordable for the average new car buyer. I own a 2015 JK Freedom. It’s fun to drive and have done a few cosmetic upgrades. I bought it preowned in July 2022. It was the first preowned vehicle I’ve purchased since 1971, because new Wranglers are way over priced. Wranglers are basically toys something to have fun with because they aren’t practical daily drivers.

The area where I’m located, there are at least 7 dealerships with in a 50 mile radius. Each dealership has Jeeps coming out of their backside.Any model any color if one wishes to be a fool and shell out $58,000- $80,000 for a Jeep wrangler. The dealers are not bashful and add on stupid stuff, like chrome muffler bearing plus wheel locks all for $2,500. It’s crazy, these dealer think they can kick you in your ass and you’re going to like it. Thats is totally insane for a 4wheel tractor with electric windows and air conditioning. The car market is not for me, I can’t afford to give them my first born to make a car deal. Plus with bidenomics interest rate you’re buying the vehicle twice by the time ya pay it off. Greed! Is the game now….

Problem is chrysler/ fiat. Italian ceo's and italian designers are going for luxury . And jeep wranglers are not suppose to be luxury made. And I saw prices jump about $15,000.00 during the covid period. What is up with corporate greed ? Listen to the public guy's !

I bought a 2009 Wrangler Sahara with some of the good options and I got it for around $28,000. Today, even if I could afford a $60 - $70 Wrangler, there is no way I'm spending that kind of $$$ on a Jeep. Stellantis is the single worst thing that has ever happened to Chrysler/Dodge/ Jeep.

Can we talk about how ****** the Wrangler’s interior is? You can barely fit 4 full grown humans, tiny door frames, minimal cargo space, terrible road noise. It’s a really cool-looking overpriced and impractical toy. But yeah, I’ll buy one and get my Man Card stamped some day.

If the salesman came out while you were looking at the $63,000 Mojave truck and ask you.."What would it take for you to buy this"? What would you tell him?

Over priced! I paid $63k OTD for mine and not worth it. I’m stuck with it. Very good for daily drive on bad road conditions, perfect mall crawler.

In my opinion, no hard core Jeepster would be caught dead driving a 4XE. The 4XE's have 3 cooling systems and a 48-volt battery boat anchor. What could go wrong? The MSRP is just the beginning. Most people will spend another $5,000 or more customizing their Jeep. I bought a base trim Willys Wrangler with a stick and manual locks and windows for $40,000. Six months later, I probably spent another $3,000 for mods and labor without even trying.

Dodge Hornets here in Scottsdale have $16k off sticker. I still would not by one! Gladiators have $14k off

At 02:48 that is a 2024 model because it has the windshield antenna on the passenger side instead of the external whip antenna. Plus the front grill is the 2024 version.

Dealers on average make less than 500 dollars on a new car sale. $ is in the trade in they sell or selling used cars they purchase from auction. And its the service department which brings in the bacon for any dealership. If YOU want to blame anyone, it's the Labor Union Guy earning $150 dollars an hour to install a bolt on a assembly line in Detroit and huge retirement packages paid out to BIG 3 Executives.....

Look at all the recalls and reliability ratings on Chevy, Dodge, Ford, and Jeep, and you can see why they are not selling. Compare those brands to Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, and Honda, and the build quality is so much better. Also, those American brands depreciate crazy fast. Most are worth 1/2 in just 30 months.

I don't know any dealers in my area that have closed.

A Dodge dealership text me and I asked for the apr, and they said 6.9% and they lie, so I told him that 2 gmc dealers have trucks starting at 37k and they are Sierra's with a 1.9% apr.

You're in an area with 2 million people and only 2 CDJR dealerships. They'll sell. And you pointed out their manufactured scarcity. There's only one or two of each trim, color, powertrain, etc. This is how it is all over now. You want a Ford F150 Powerboost? 1 or 2 within a 50 mile radius. you want one with the Coyote Engine? 1 or 2 in a 50 mile radius. You want a silverado with a 3.0 diesel? 1 or 2 in a 50 mile radius. And by the way, the 50 mile radius will have 10 million people living in it. The supply isn't as plentiful as YT makes it out to be. I wish it was. Dealerships are truds.

I own my first Jeep product a JT. You hit the nail on the head on me owning a Jeep. It’s fun! Reliable? No. Fuel economy? Bad. Quality? Meh! Insurance? Expensive. I do love driving it, it’s fairly functional. Jeeps are not cars you need. They are cars you want. At today’s prices anyone who buys one deserves the misery that comes with it.
