Argh! Apologies I once again managed to not press the record button until about 4 minutes into the panel...! I'll try and make sure I don't do this for the rest of the weekend 😂
Thank you very much for recording and sharing your video with us. It brings joy! Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness is very much appreciated! You rock! 😊
❤ Thanks for saying those things... When you say the words "your bond, brotherhood" you can feel the tension in the air, lol or maybe that's just me...😅 I believe it's important, though. Here is an excerpt of my supernatural diary book I'm writing: HUNTERS. These seem entirely based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s Rangers of the North, who are Atlantean survivors. Here being the quotes: “Few now remember them… yet still some go wandering, sons of forgotten kings walking in loneliness, guarding from evil things folk that are heedless.“ (Tom Bombadil) and “Lonely men are we, Rangers of the wild, hunters - but hunters ever of the servants of the Enemy, for they are found in many places, not in Mordor only.” (Aragorn) I actually woke up one morning with the vivid thought in my head that Sam and Dean were Atlantean Rangers. I think I know why my subconscious went there: in Boromir’s words, “By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe!” - this particular frustration would only be made obvious later in the show, but I imagined it would be there and how it would feel to never be able to connect with those who live in the illusion of the normal world. The Rangers wore a star as their symbol, so basically they were a type of police force; but I can’t really imagine their job as literal (killing everyone who’s on the weird side would be anti-Knowledge) so there must be an equally symbolic aspect to the Hunt itself. Especially where angels’ deaths are concerned, the light emerging from their eyes in that moment is very telling. Exactly one day before I found Supernatural in 2023, I had expressed one of those vivid thoughts where I wanted to connect with other people from the Atlantean Family in the present, which was a revisit of my equally vivid thought in early 2005. I was ready to go to that next level. But it seems I couldn’t see Atlantis for the Atlanteans, because they had always been there, in the form of those relationships that had fascinated me since 1990, when I discovered a story about a butterfly and a cricket who had this amazing friendship - I felt something like a fire or heat in the palms of my hands just thinking about them. I remember running around the classroom, book in hand, tugging on my peers’ sleeves and shoving the text in front of them, asking them how it made them feel: did they feel that fire too, in their hands, eyes and stomach? Since one of the two insects dies (which of course is how the intensity of their feelings is revealed) my classmates told me it was “horrible” and, one by one, pulled away from me - that’s when I knew this would require a lot of work. See, even back then I knew what the message was: I would get more choice in my life, by reading the story of the two friends. But due to other people’s reactions, I never expected something that looked like it wasn’t going anywhere to represent anything more than a fantasy (whenever someone asked me how I would define Atlantis, I’d just mumble something like, “There’s this mountain and a spiral and the soulmates,” my voice tapering off into nothingness). It alarmed me every time I tried to think about it, and in turn this made me more depressed. But yes, Atlantes is the plural form of the lonely Atlas, either two men or two mythological male creatures holding up the Axis Mundi or primordial balance.
I think what J2 are trying to say about the Supernatural legacy, is that they are stewards to care for the show and the characters now. Thank you so much for posting the video.
Thank you so much for uploading it for us ❤❤🥰 you are our hero who gave us the opportunity to see our boys and support them from far away. ❤ 😊 I am so delighted as If i would have participated on the event.
Omygod, 'The Final Countdown' was my absolute favourite as a kid! Listen to those lyrics... I didn't know English back then, but whenever I heard that intro, I thought "Yup, this is what I'm here to do" 😊 (Venus = Evening Star = pentagram = Holy Grail Fam = Lightbody...)
I relate to Jensen SO much with the public speaking. When you’re on the spot and have to say something in front of a group?? Ugh I HATE that! My favorite one episode actor was Roger Aaron Brown who played Joshua in Dark Side of the Moon. He just had such screen presence that I could never get him out of my mind! And when I first started watching the show as it aired around season 7/8 I was always hoping they’d bring him back. He was incredible. I think they did end up bringing Joshua back but he was in a different vessel :/
Oh yes! Joshua in his garden - he was a powerful character. I do think we were blessed with some awesome one episode guests. And I'm totally with Jensen on the formal public speaking!
Thank you for doing this. I can't believe I STILL haven't seen the SPN finale or even the last season. Stupid real life imploded on me. I'll have to save this for future viewing.
Yes, they're back! It is definitely a great thing that they take the time to do these cons - it is really like SPN has carried on through that. Even if they dont run around with machetes and guns in the trunk 🤣
17:39 ça c'est un problème que beaucoup d'introverti peuvent avoir ( bien sûr tous les introvertis ne le sont pas , personnellement , je le suis pas) et je crois dans une convention ils avaient dit qu'ils étaient.
2014? There is no such thing as too much of these guys. Thank you. I would love to see a poll somewhere for the spn family asking everybody who their favorite one episode actors were. For me, it's Barry Bostwick from Criss Angel is a Douchbag. Second place is Chad Everett (RIP) playing senior Dean.. emperor Palpatine, indeed. I just thought of a question I've never heard asked at a con. I wonder what they'd come up with if asked, had they been able to get Betty White (RIP) up to Vancouver to play a part.. who would they have liked her to play?
No, I think this year; the latest. 14 just refers to the number of the JIBcons that they've done. They started going to Rome for this con around 2010/11
Thank you. And to Jensen, it's too late this fandom has already soured, the toxicity is rampant and you know this from the D word part of the fandom and the hate Jared and yourself receive daily.
