Thank you so much!! You are one of my heroes. I’ve been a fan of the show since it first premiered on my 21st birthday and I’ve been wanting to go to a con. Your videos have allowed me to attend the cons vicariously through you. Greatly, greatly appreciate you!
Thank you so much for filming and sharing. I would dearly love to go to an SPNCon but as I'm in Australia, it's probably never going to happen. I love these boys. I love the show and I love the SPNFamily. Your Vids help me feel like I belong. xx
Gayle, thank you very much for sharing your Gold Panel video with us. Your videos always bring joy and smiles to us. I appreciate all your efforts and hard work. 😊
@charles.1962 I know I couldn’t agree more. Just pathetic some of these fanfic people. I write lots of SPN fanfic but would never ever bring it up at a convention. Jensen handled that question like a real pro. 🙏❤️
I wonder if maybe some of these types of fans may be suffering some form of parasocial relationship disorder. I often wonder when we really should lock at something with kinder eyes of someone have a mental disorder vs they are just a creep. I'm not picking a side on how someone should be viewed in this situation. I just wonder myself where the line is.
In the fan's defense, she never said or implied that she writes smut around this idea, which is the assumption that seems to underlie Jensen's and others' dismissive and morally outraged responses. Dean's (past) illegal drug use is canon (Marijuana and "mollies"), and it's at least suggested that he offers some to Kevin too. A lot of fiction writers, and that includes fan fic writers, work through their own traumas by writing about it around fictional characters. If, like Dean, one grows up poor enough yourself, is indefinitely and repeatedly abandoned by your only adult caretaker for days or weeks, is pushed into parentification of a sibling, spends a lot of time around shady bars and truck stops, and is good-looking to boot... Is the unwilling sex work angle really *that* hard to believe? Could there be some bourgeois privilege at work if we outright condemn a fictional version of Dean who was put in the awful position to do something awful to keep Sammy warm and fed... ? Just my two cents. Big love, dear fam. ❤
@@elise757 it’s a bit tough to explain, but I’ll put it in two words, did u try ICING IT as in like frosting and ice as in like cold water, do u get it now
Clearly, you haven't seen the Supernatural tag on AO3, because a lot of people came to the same conclusion that weird lady did. While I agree that asking Jensen about it is wrong, it's still better than anything the ABO creeps come up with.
Why is it rude to want to understand that type of trauma, using a fictional character to do so? I don't understand who it is being rude to. Or do you think anything with the word sex in it is "rude"...

Yep. Absolutely right on all counts. Still doesn't mean you get to ask Jensen about it. Use the source material for therapy fodder all you want, leave the actors out of it. Some discussions are best left to the fans alone. These people are essentially asking Jensen to imagine his own assault. No. @@johanetalicekriel1362
They aren’t required to anymore. So they will just continue to do them until fans don’t show up anymore, they get too busy with other projects, or they have to do conventions for new shows I’d assume. Or they just don’t want to anymore. But they all love the community so much I don’t see them not wanting to do these anytime soon
