Kris Keefer takes the 2024 Kawasaki KX450 around the technical ruts of Mesquite MX. This Go-Pro footage was taken during a test between the modified KX450 and modified YZ450.
Our local dealer had a 23’ and 24’ next to each other with a $2500 rebate on the 23’. I went with the 23’. Coming from a 14’ RMZ it’s still a huge upgrade for me. A local suspension tech put stiffer springs front and rear and some nicer valving for $700. I couldn’t be happier with the bike. I appreciate the work you put in on reviewing these bikes, it helps me a lot. Keep up the great work! Happy New Year !!
Sweet as man love it! I have one reccommendation on the gopro mount front would be to try a Dango Designs Gripper mounts on the chin of your helment, footage looks so good when mounted there.
Can't wait to read the article. Keeping an eye on this bike, might pick one up at the end of the year. Motor mods seem pretty obvious what's needed and what isn't, but I'm really curious about gearing and suspension fine tuning. Woot. Thanks Kris.
Did you take grommet out of the bottom of the air box? That helps. A PC muffler helps as well, A LOT! But I understand what you mean by it's slow stock. Yes, it is when it comes to the world of 450s..
@@Keeferinctesting yes I drilled holes in the air box cover helped a lot put a 51 tooth on the rear helped a bunch but idk how to mess with the rideolodgy can’t find any info online
Stay with the 23'SXF350 (which is very fun) or make the jump back to 24' Kawi 450? Liked my 19' Kawi 450 and loved my 20'Yam YZ450. First world problems eh? ; )
