In this video, I compare the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R with the 2023 model and show you what’s new and improved. The Ninja ZX-6R is one of the most popular supersport motorcycles in the market, and for 2024, it gets a update in terms of efficiency, usability, and looks.
Some of the changes in the 2024 model are a result of new emission regulations, but changes also include more useful technology and updated styling. The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R features a new nose design with integrated winglets, a new 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, new integrated riding modes, and new round brake discs with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires.
The engine of the Ninja ZX-6R is still a 636cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder with DOHC and a 67.0 x 45.1mm bore/stroke. However, Kawasaki has revised the cam profiles, the header pipes, and the intake funnel for better low-rpm performance and to help meet stricter emission standards1. The power output is slightly lower than the 2023 model, but still impressive at 122hp.
I will show you how these changes affect the performance, features, and looks of the Ninja ZX-6R on the road and on the track. I will also give you my honest opinion on whether the 2024 model is worth the upgrade or not. If you are interested in the Ninja ZX-6R or supersport motorcycles in general, you don’t want to miss this video!

Incredible how such minor tweaks to the front fairing can make it look so much better than the old one

Disagree. I liked the 2019-2023 design. The 2024 has a goofy front end that doesn't look right on the bike. This one also has less power from the factory thanks to Euro5 compliance, not to mention that TFT displays are bigtime ghey. My personal favorite ZX-6Rs were the 2000-2002 "j" models.

The older version design has more of a classic look to it, I mean more relatable to older bikes 2006, fairing looks more proportionate..body lines... design wise for me the previous gen, cluster too... have not seen the bike in person so... 2012 design was beautiful...imo

@@saylipolyn4253 Different guy here, but I liked the 2000-2002 J models and the 2019-2023 bikes. I'm probably biased because those are the ones I own, but the 2024 is undeniably ugly, has less power from the factor, and TFT displays are just a gimmick and an eyesore.

I think it’s interesting how they were able to get this bike to the USA almost immediately after the reveal trailer, but when it came to the zx4rr it took them 3 to 4 months to get that bike to the states, interesting right?

Looking at the zx6r, I think the next new Ninja 650 model will also be greatly influenced by the zx6r. Especially the design, decals, and appearance.

Tell me 2 things about the 2024 model. Is the front smaller (narrower) than the 2023? Is the body of the bike thinner than the 2023? thanks

If you watch the video of the guys over at 2 wheel dynoworks, you can see that the engine is actually much better up to the tippy top of the rev range. So for street riding its actually better 😅. Sure its worse at the top but thats an ok tradeoff for a lot of people

They ruined this bike. So ugly now! Looks like one of the cheap chinese bikes now. Total crapola now. TFT display is a gimmick and will break fast, then will cost a fortunate to replace. New bike is also A LOT SLOWER! S L O W E R ! What were they thinking? KAwaski sold out and the ZX6R is history now.

Looks way better than the old model, TFT is not a gimmick and better than outdated analog clocks and completely reliable, only the bikes in the USA are slow, the one we get in NZ and Australia are not restricted in any way, they have 115 rear wheel hp and a top speed of 270kph.
