How did it drive in the snow?

The base 2.5 engine in those and their Hyundai brothers is anemic at best. It lacks power and fuel economy. Unless you drive like a granny in ECO mode at 40mph, you will be getting 19-20mpg in real world driving. Usually you trade efficiency for power, in this case they are both equally bad. On top of that engine is noisy and unrefined. Stepping on the gas produces a lot of noise but not much acceleration. That's the one, very important place where those cars fail. It's a shame as the exterior and interior designs are nice, so is the good technology.
