Hello All - I had some fun with this vehicle. I am however, very concerned with the "Wireless" transmission of data. You have to ask yourself, "How do they do that". There must be an active SIM card in this vehicle which is frightening on many levels. With that said, it is a very good car and worth a look. thx...
Hello SR - Thank you for your kind words. It has been tough getting to some fun events. I was at one a few weeks ago and it rained so hard I almost lost my camera. So, I don't want to take a break, but sometimes mother nature has other ideas for me. Stay tuned, more good stuff to come. thx...
Hey AC, Thanks for the great video. I too am team Lexus. BUT,....these days we ALL need to be concerned with privacy issues. Just give us our privacy back please.! We rented a Lexus a while ago and didn't even want to connect our phones to the car for that reason. It kinda sucked. We were looking at the 24s not long ago, and I agree with you, the V6 being replaced with the V4 Turbo is definitely noticed. Too small for that car. Especially if a person is in a jam and needs that extra 7%. Normally when new cars come out, I can't wait to trade mine in, but that's when there are more upgrades and no downgrades. But damn, it is a pretty car. Those are my 2 complaints as well. Appreciate your time and great videos. Let's see what they do with the 25s :)
Hey C - Thanks for the feedback. One other problem with the 4 cylinder - towing... It is rated to pull 3500 pounds, but i cannot even imagine pulling a boat or small trailer up hill. I am sure it could do it, but it would be slow and probably take a toll on the engine life. Lastly, I was a little disappointed with the fuel mileage. The Rav4 which is also a 2.4 v4 got about 35 miles per gallon. The Lexus was barely getting low 20's. It was brand new and I am sure it will improve, but the v6 easily gets 23/25. So bigger is better on this one. Thx....
Hey RK - This car was about $48,500. You can add some options that bring it up to as much as $55,000. It is a nice car, but the 4 cylinder engine is just not good enough if you want to tow anything. And with an SUV, you want to be able to pull a boat or small trailer. It is a very nice car and I did enjoy driving it. Thanks for watching. thx...
