I have never seen that boxed set of Austen! It has such a great vintage look to it. And that's the same edition of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall that I originally read, but now i have a Bronte boxed set also, so I got rid of my single copies.

I enjoyed seeing your collection! Someone recommended Calvino to me a while back but haven't gotten to him yet. I've heard really good things about 'If on a winter's night a traveler', so this may be the nudge I was looking for to check him out. The only Austin I've read so far is Emma, which I quite enjoyed. I may try Persuasion next since you mentioned it was your favorite.

I think "If on a winter's night a traveller" is a great way to start - it certainly gives you a good taste of Calvino's style and sense of humour! I hope you enjoy Persuasion when you get to it!
