Presented by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, the 2024 Life Science Tech & Trends Forum was an Irvine Tech Week Cornerstone Event held at Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine on April 18, 2024. It brought together experts from Irvine, California-based companies to discuss trends shaping the industry, from the development of new methods, instruments, and materials to the evolving business landscape, touching on future growth opportunities, where to position oneself to be relevant, and predictions on the next big disruption.
The forum included a networking reception followed by a moderated question-and-answer discussion. Welcome remarks were delivered by the Foundation's Executive Director, Anne Hultgren, PhD. Orange County Startup Council Founder and CEO, Scott Fox, served as moderator. The panel was comprised of three speakers:
