hello, Instagram won't accept the live stream, after i press start stream on obs, nothing happen in the instagram preview, go live button still grey I made sure my OBS was fine, because I tried going live to RU-vid, it worked perfectly I've tried changing the encoding, to h264, it still doesn't work does anyone know where the problem is?

Check the bit rate, don’t go over 6K and make sure you have the most updated stream key and server url from IG.

@@LiveProductionTips my video bitrate is set to 3000 kbps, is that too high ? I dont have connection problem , my internet upload speed is 50mbps

@@Laiqul that sounds right. The problem is most likely between obs and IG not communicating. Try to use obs without the plugin and see if you get a signal. If you do then it’s the plugin. You can also try a different browser/ and try a different software that takes custom RTMP like Streamlabs that should help you identify the problem

@@LiveProductionTips exactly the same happening here: key correctly inserted, good connection, computer, working nicely on YT, but not even sending the preview on Instagram. Tried to remove the vertical plugin, changed browser, restart computer and nothing changed... any other ideias on how to troubleshooting this? Thanks for your work!

I followed all the steps and got to the last part where I clicked the stream button in the Aitum Vertical box and it crashed OBS. After that, the vertical plugin no longer shows up when I open OBS. I uninstalled and re-installed it and I still can't have the vertical scene show up in OBS again although it is installed. Under Docks, I clicked on vertical and it brought up the Aitum bar but as soon as I clicked Stream, OBS crashed again. How do I get it to start from scratch?

Could be many reasons why OBS is crushing check if you are not using a Beta Version, or if your PC is good enough. @@LiveProductionTips I’m using a brand new Mac mini M2 Pro. It worked fine before when I first installed it, I think the issue is I didn’t change the video encoder to x264. My question is how can I get the vertical scenes back when I start OBS?

Great video. Extremely helpful with out trying to fill up time with a bunch of BS! So thanks! I have a question - new to this. Is it possible to have multiple cameras and live stream to IG from OBS? My wife is a jewelry artist and would like to have one camera on her and another camera focused on a flat surface to show jewelry. Ideally, I would like to be able to live switch between camera views (Show wife talking, then switch to image of the jewelry).

I tried this and the preview on IG live producer cuts off a large portion of the vertical scene. On OBS, the preview is perfect. It's almost like the aspect ratio is off, but I have checked it several times and confirmed that it is 720x1280. Any ideas?

Thank you for the video. I have tried using a third party software (Yellow duck) to stream on instagram, but my account was blocked after using it a few time. How safe is this software? Can I use it without being worried of instagram blocking my account?

Instagram has allowed custom RTMP Streaming so it’s not an issue anymore they know people will be using Third party software.

You need to make sure you add audio source back in OBS on the vertical plugin. ( microphone & systems audio)

@@nickmartinez3552 I use a PC so that could be another reason because the Mac version might be slightly different. But either way you should be able to see the docks. Were you able to install the plugin ?
