The Louisville Urban League was proud to present its most prestigious event of the year. Our Annual Derby Gala, "Mardi Gras Louisville," took place Wednesday, May 1, 2024. As we continue to make strides in empowering and uplifting our community, having more than 1,300 people share in this monumental endeavor was beautiful. This year held special significance as Louisville celebrated the 150th Running of the Kentucky Derby. The city was abuzz with excitement and activity, but with our special guests, Jon Batiste and DJ Mannie Fresh, we were undoubtedly the best and most impactful party in town!
