Mahindra Thar Armada or the Thar 5-door is expected to be launched in the next couple of months. We even know a lot of things that the Mahindra Armada will come equipped with. That said, one question that has been asked by many is what will be the pricing of the Mahindra Thar Armada? We even did a poll on our Motoroctane RU-vid channel and many selected the expected range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom). But will the Armada come at that price or will it cost more? Remember, it will be based on the Scorpio-N’s platform.
Mahindra Armada Price - Engine Options
It is said that the upcoming Mahindra Thar Armada will be available with three engine options. While the 4X4 models will get the Scorpio N’s 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, the RWD variants of the Armada are expected to get the 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Thar RWD. So the 1.5-litre diesel on the Thar RWD produces 117bhp and 300Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 2.2-litre diesel on the Scorpio N 4WD produces 172bhp and 400Nm of torque. Lastly, the 2.0-litre turbo petrol of the Scorpio-N produces 200bhp and 380Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include - manual and torque converter automatic transmissions
