I have 5 trees that give me 5 gallons almost every day. On days with runs, over 10. Then again I have 30 other taps after those 5 trees.

Our climate and season is based more on local elevation and prevailing weather patterns. Our typical first and last snow is October - May; however, sap season is highly variable, but we do get good production at night. @@theprofessionalamerican

Just put out 35 taps yesterday here in Ohio! Weird winter....hardly any snow to talk about here in Ohio all winter long...darn shame. Hope this maple season isn't a dud.

Well, our snow is gone now too. So much rain came through. Temps look really good this week and moving forward.

@@theprofessionalamerican I'm in NE Ohio and that rain just washed everything away, pretty gross weather there for a stretch LOL. Hope you have a good season!

@@geoffoutdoors yeah it was such a sloppy mess here. Ground is still saturated. We had a deep freeze here in SE PA for like five minutes.
