I like the nomad because it's fantastic for starter low-flying, basically no matter how fast you're going if your landing gear are down and they hit first you don't die.

Nomad is one of my most favorite ships. It's basically my first love from the free fly when I first saw it. I literally touched no other ship since I sat in the seat of Nomad. It's cozy interier aestetics, it's sleek exterior, and it's very convenient cargo bay, that I used so many times to pile up the bodies of outlaws I shot in bunkers and urgent 890j boarding missions...I love every part of it :D And those antigravs that serves as the landing gear really stand out. I would be so happy to win that guy! God, no...Fillian, please!!

The NOMAD is a very complete ship, it has a bed, bathroom, dining room, a considerable amount of missiles and some racks for weapons in addition to having the components accessible, a considerable cargo area for the price and all this with a simple but striking style with the orange stripes. Now with the tractor beam on the ship, which is a remote turret that the pilot can control, it seems like an excellent ship to start with. good option to give away :)

Ive always liked the idea of the nomad, Space Pickup Truck that it is. Its small but allows for a ROC or even a Fury on the back, giving it alot of versatility i dont see from my Aurora LN. It would be AWESOME to get a game pack with a nomad!

The Nomad is just my dream ship! Its unique design, hovertech, and well-thought-out interior captivate me. I'm particularly drawn to the Polar Skin. The idea of traveling through space with the Nomad is truly exciting. It wouldn't just be a fantastic spacecraft but also the perfect starter ship. Hopefully, this dream becomes a reality soon!

The Nomad is an excellent starter with 24 scu of cargo compared to the tiny cargo capacity of other starter ships. With three size one shields and 3 size two gun points it is also fairly hardy compared to other starters as well. Adding the anti-grav tech is also a nice touch, and a tractor beam is definitely a plus since with cargo elevators being added next we'll have to move cargo manually. I'd give the ship pack to my younger brother to get him into the game since we play other games together and I've been wanting to get him into SC forever.

Nomad is The best Starter Ship. The amount of stuff one could steal with the tractor Beam, the Mining Missions you can do, the AFK stealing in Stations you can do...... and Cargo...Drugs.... is amazing

The Nomad's design language and its utility are major points for me. I like the gravlev landing gear, the fact you can seat 3 inside its cabin, the fact that the cargo bed is so versatile - I even like the jar of protein powder on the desk. It's such a well rounded little ship.

My first (and only ship for years) was the CNOU Mustang Alpha, a ship is still own and fly today, the Nomad is like the bigger brother of the Mustang. I love the CNOU ships from the orange UI to the somewhat industrial meets kinda sifi Elements. And with the Nomad one could all types of gameplay wich is really cool.

Out of all the basic starters the nomad has one thing that stands out above the rest. Its the only starter able to carry a ROC. This makes the nomad the ideal starter for those wanting to start mining in the game. The nomad is one of my recommended starters for new players.

For the lucky citizen who gets the Nomad, Cograts, its a great ship. If your new, its one of the (IMO) best starters. Great cargo, quick and decent in a fight, and just slick to look at. also comfy living space on the inside. If you a regular citizen, o7 Citizen.

Honestly, the nomad doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's almost always overshadowed by the cutty, and what a shame! The ship is more than functional and also (atleast according to me) looks great!

The Nomad was in fact the first ship that i bought with ingame money. I like the hovertech on the landing gear and especially the design of the interior. I had some adventures with the nomad already. And I go skiing from time to time, so I am really close with snow and colder of regions. Thats why I really love the polar skin and also the fitting armor set. Really great ship and starter ship

Honestly, not really sure what to write here. Not been apart of many giveaways. I do like the concept of Star Citizien as this first person based approach to futuristic mmo games. It also ticks a lot of boxes on my sort of checklist for what I personally like in game genres and capabilities. On the Nomad I mostly like its sort of compact, UFO like outline and that open space at the rear really gives a sort of pickup vibe to it. Sort of what I could imagen rural citiziens to "drive" in around, if it were not for its militaristic fighter-like design.

I really like the aesthetic of the Nomad, and as you mention the versatility and possibilities this single ship brings is huge. It feels like a space-version of the pickup-truck. Can do almost anything, you just have to put your mind to it! I would actually like to give it away to a friend of mine who was very interested (and surprised in a positive way) when I showed him the game during Christmas, but has not pulled the trigger on the game - yet! Gifting him a Nomad game package would be incredible!

I quite like the Nomad as a starter ship and would recommend it to anyone starting up in Star Citizen, mainly because of the usefulness of the open cargo area and ability to carry a mole, it offers so much to many different roles. A great starting point for anyone coming into the game and generally not a bad runabout for getting from A to B later on.

Well, it can carry an ROC ground mining vehicle XD. Mole is the bigger multicrew mining ship, but yeah it's an incredibly useful ship even to ppl that have access to other stuff.

The Nomad, I believe is the best of the starters especially when it's game package is on sale. It has some decent cargo space, very nice interior with the amnesties, it can carry a variety of smaller ships/ground vehicles that other larger shisp can't even carry. The only negative really it is ok defending itself but it isn't really a combat ship, but that isn't its role.

For a starter ship, the Nomad can at least perform almost if not every game loop in SC. Find out what type of gameplay you like. Then upgrade to a better ship.

That armor that comes with the Nomad is sick! Nomad itself is a beautiful ship and is a vastly different silhouette from other ships. The Cutlass is bigger and more versatile. The Polaris is just dreamy!!!

I don't know much about nomad, I only heard that it's nice, but about syulen and the red series of cutlass (because of the medical missions that look very cool), watched a lot on youtube, but what I learned in free fly with drake cutter is that I should never leave the ship when the ship is moving, especially in quantum travel, because I might fall behind the ship just a little bit.

It looks like this idea is working, as this vid is the first time you have shown up on my feed. The nomad was my first ship in SC that I fell in love with and I have always regretted CCUing out of it, but refuse to give up on the chain. Getting one back with out having to fork out the cash and deal with my wifes looks that sais she is debating whether keeping me around is worth that money or not would be great! The Nomad is an amazing starter. Even in a fully realized fleet, the nomad can have a great role- especially as a scout or solo adventurer ship. The external bed being able to fit a roc really ties a nice bow on the ship.

polaris. out of everything in this list. the nomads my starter and been since the package opened. the cutty blacks been my work horse. the alien ships are a bit much for me personally but the polaris. is and has been my end game ship.

I'm a big fan of space of games. Played most of them and my favorite is Elite Dangerous. Played more than 6k hours and i always wish to see Elite more interactable or even walk inside ships. I always wanted to play Star Citizen but couldn't be able to buy the game because of economical states. Bought the game and thats my 2nd month of in SC and i really love this game. Also Nomad is almost looks same with ASP Explorer in Elite and it's my fav ship too.
