As a Vols fan I truthfully didn’t want to see the aggies , they played extremely well this series and caused my blood pressure to spike . Great team and they will be back again next year .

Someone should have asked about the PitchCom Billy Amick lost in the 5th inning of Game 1 after Kirby picked off an A&M player at 3rd. You can see the PitchCom stuck to his arm after the play. Tennessee asked for it back and A&M told the umps they didn’t have it. There are photos that he did have it.
As a Vols fan tons of respect to A&M, y'all are one tough team there wasn't any amount of runs that could have made me feel comfortable against that lineup.

His last response didn’t age well at all. Who would respond and behave/storm off like that, as if he is offended at the suggestion he would even consider leaving for that job, knowing full and damn well he would be officially accepting that very job less than 24 hours later? Great series to y’all. I would’ve loved to see both our teams uninsured; our day 2 starter was hurt and our 3 hole, and Schloss said y’all had a guy out as well. Would’ve been even more insane with those guys in it

Coming from a Tennessee fan my ass was tight the whole series. Texas A&M was an extremely dangerous baseball team could’ve been anybody’s trophy very fortunate to be national champions very appreciative. That’s a classic act baseball team. Very talented baseball team probably won’t see the last of them either.!!! congratulations on a great season

Congratulations to UT, to come back being down and winning the last two games in the clutch matter that they did shows what championship teams are made of!! Unfortunately my Aggies didn’t come thru when it matters but it was a combination of the opposition, bad timing on the hitting and a bit of bad luck. Very proud of the team and the 12th man! It was an awesome series by both teams and respective fan members of both schools!! 👍🏻
A lot of talk about the greatness of the 12th man but most of the comments are from vol fans. Seems like the 12th man stopped paying attention after that last out.
Hats off to A&M. They were good, just not good enough. This Vols team proved that they are without a doubt the best team in the nation and have been all year. This team is special man I’ve been saying it all year.

What a failure as a father, a man, and a human being. He literally invoked his family as a way to shield himself from accountability. This screamed that he was upset w/ himself for taking this other job and jumping ship, so he publicly took it out someone else, using his family, who clearly means nothing to him, as a way to prevent himself from having to be honest or accountable.

I was heavily recruited by Schloss & Todd Whiting when they were @ TCU in 2004 & I can absolutely say that he’s not a sore loser - he’s just a competitor & hates losing, but he is exactly like he was in this presser literally all the time. This is just his personality. There are some players that didn’t like him bc they thought he was an asshole, but he’s just a no nonsense WYSIWYG kind of man & there is nothing wrong w/ that!
