@danielmann316 I don't think it was... the new power train cost millions to develop... they already had the v8... In every way for both mercedes and for the consumer the v8 made more sense financially... it would be cheaper to manufacture and to repair for the customer I think it was a massive massive miss judging of the market ... that 2.0 hybrid is overly complicated... heavy... and lacks character
