@MorganaRavenheart yeah no. 6 hrs is a straight up lie. riding high elevation single track that electric pos ain't making it back. maybe one day, but that days a long ways out.
Or just try going out again the next day without using the genny on full blast to charge it. My genny stays sipping powering tv, hot water and phone chargers

@Major_nutt well traction a 450 wins, stark has instant torque but is stupid on dirt or road in terms of traction, where as a 450 has traction control, atleast most 450s do, (newer ones.) So yea I mean I could admit the stark is quicker, but there are pros and cons. Either way I would always take a 450, better experience overall slower or faster then the stark, and has much more potential.

@DCH-lv2xm There is no sudden switch from ice To electric. It's a slow motion change. I was in a triumph shot the other day and they had A lot of gas powered motorcycles and a handful of electric. If electric doesn't meet your needs don't drive one Or rather ride.

Even $2000 for electric bicycle its to much, can't imagine pay $13 K for dirt bike? Where do you charge it when your on trail? Just want to ask how ppl do it ?
@@chrisdavis9746 absolutely. Had to look it up to see what the price was cuz I knew it was gonna be insane but 13k is absolutely ridiculous, just save couple more years and get a factory bike at that point 😂

@@wallflower15875 still smiles for minutes with its limits. You can put any MX “Race bike” on the long days long trails long endurance races. Electric has huge limitations. I ride a “race bike” myself it’s literally got not for highway use on the vin plate 🤷🏻♂️
This, also how long does it take to charge once flat? normal bikes can be filled in a minute or two with petrol, e bikes are gonna take hours at least.

@@bomblatur9149 io sto aspettando honda, che da come dicono è meno potente ed ha una batteria di nuova concezione che permette una guida più "tranquilla" e quindi di conseguenza la batteria dura di più. Si parla anche di una partecipazione anche a qualche gara di mondiale MXGP ma al momento sono solo parole. Staremo a vedere.

Electric motorcycles are pretty exciting as technology advances will hopefully get more runtime that is probably the only flaw is it can’t keep up with the gas one on a trail ride long distance. But I definitely think a lightweight hybrid is in order.

I miss the sound of a gate full of 125s and the premixed vapors passing through my nose, i switched to the thumpers and did really well on my KTMs but having no sound or smells of fuel burning might be a deal breaker for me and i love my sport. My neighbor's might love them on weekend practice days at my home track.
See, this is pretty cool. I don't really like EVs for daily long term use especially if you road trip like I do often but for a toy? This makes a lot of sense. Why the hell not? Instant torque for out of the hole and after the landing. Seems like a pretty good idea for a track bike.
That’s awesome! But I like gas still bc I can bring extra with me. Can’t really bring enough extra electricity for one of these. Yet. And yes, ik it’s a “race” bike but plp where I’m from ride “race” anything in the hills.
There is still one real dirt bike what including real engine growl, one part of the fun. I played also RC cars when I was kid, nowadays I play big boy toys.
Чем хорош электро байк это тем,что что у него крутящий момент самого начала.и в городских условиях просто идеален. Скажу даже больше,что по трассе набрав скорость он расходует не так много электричества.
People don’t understand that a lot of dirt bikes are limited by traction. They should be similar on those surfaces, but a beginner will always be faster when they are more comfortable. The stark can be a lot less scary to ride, assuming it is like an Alta.
These are awesome if you want to tear up the trails behind the house in the morning and not piss off all your neighbors. I had one that decimated all the pit bikes and 125s. Especially on climbs.
These e-bikes have an acceleration that would sit 95% of these commenters down…however, I am forced to agree hard as hell. ‘Sup with the rider of the 450? Those things aren’t a joke and should be able to work next to an e-bike.
It takes a couple of minutes to full the KTM up with gas when it runs low how long does it take the electric bike to recharge its battery so it can continue? It there’s some place to plug in the charger!
Until you've had a bad ass e bike or been around em you can't have a good opinion about em plain and simple. They dont replace anything they add another awesome option. I love my stealthy late night and early morning rips on my e bike. Doesn't bother anyone doesnt attract attention just fun awesome ripping.
