I was at the dealership and they can build it with you at the dealership but you can’t on the website because they want you to come in and see them 🤦🏽♀️
@@luvlyjasmin which is stupid on them because now the customer will think if it's not on the website then they don't offer it anywhere and they'll just go with another brand probably
Whoever say bad things about Mercedes is because they never had Mercedes or bought a Mercedes which neglected by previous owners , unreal world people who drive Mercedes will alway stick with it and wouldn’t drive any other car generally !!!
Check put Mark at Exoticcarplayplace, he has owned several Mercedes including the outgoing C Class Coupe. He has made several videos on it's poor reliability and quality.
Well no. I've been driving Mercedes for the last 20 years. Their new cars are not up to the same standard. The best C Class I've had was a W203 2005 C Class. A C220 CDI. It was bank vault solid. Aged extremely well and after putting 380,000 kms on, was still rattle free and solid. The new C Class on the other hand is awful in terms of build and material quality. A huge step down. My dad still drive the C220 cdi from 2005. My sister recently got taken home in a the new C Class when she took an Uber. It was a brand new one. And the first thing she said was how plasticky it feels and that the old C Classes felt more luxurious purely because they used better materials and it felt way more solid than the new one. I wanted to trade in my 2014 E350 for the W213 E Class and it was a huge disappointment I ended up keeping my W212. I couldn't believe how frail it felt. Less solid. And much lower build quality. So actually, I would drive something else because they don't feel like they used. I'm just disappointed.
It‘s actually c coupe priced (bit more expensive than current c class, much less expensive than e class). It‘s a c coupe in e class size but for c coupe money
Thats what the e class coupe has been for the last few years. the w212 e class coupe was nice and an upgrade from the C class but for the last few years they have been just a bigger C class coupe. honestly the E class coupe should have never existed. glad they got rid of it.
I also have an S coupe - AMG as I like the noise - but i am really disappointed that they have discontinued the line. It was the ultimate. Ive been trying to find a replacement - I looked at this CLE, and the GT (as its presence is closer to the S Coupe in new model) - nothing compares. The only car that can compete is the Continental GT. Such a shame, S Coupe is best car ever made.
The only way i described this car was “sexy”. I mean it is exquisitely designed inside and out. Considering coupes are becoming such a rarity in favor of crossovers and suv’s, seeing one of these is a refreshing feeling. It has such an elegant look that separates itself from the other Mercedes models. And despite it being a coupe i was shocked to see that Mason could fit in the back being 5’9.
Beautiful car. As always from Mercedes. BUT, remember, Mercedes is historically near the bottom of every reliability list. So, if you value money in general, be extremely cautious when considering a M-B.
I have a feeling this gen of Mercedes will not age well. a couple of cheap tablets glued on, tacky looking vents. the fit and finish just doesn't scream luxury
To be fair the previous Gen wasn’t significantly different. I think 2 generations ago Mercedes had the highest quality interior although it looked very dated
Hey guys I discovered after watching this review that MB offers this car in a AMG 53 convertible, check out the AMG versions. I found an awesome Convertible for 86K this makes the car less than the 4 series convertible and the 8 series convertible.
The current E-Class rear seat is tight. I mostly only use mine for my pre-teens and shopping bags. I can’t imagine putting someone taller than 5’10 back there. I really wish Mercedes releases a larger, more roomy model.
Should just be the new C-class coupe update, but they should not have discontinued the e class coupe as it was much more luxurious inside and had the cool factor of no B pillar. Nothing about this reminds me of the E-class at all.
It feels more like they just eliminated the e-class coupe, updated the C-class coupe and then renamed it in an attempt to charge e-class pricing for a c-class product. Sad.
@@timonxDlolno, not really. The CLE is about $8k more expensive at base than the outgoing C-coupe, and the V-6 model lands at $67k, which is roughly equivalent to the outgoing e450 v6 coupe. They effectively increased the price of the c-coupe while eliminating the e coupe experience (since that offered more luxury, no b-pillar, etc). It's mostly a marketing spin on eliminating the e-coupe while increasing the c-class pricing pretty dramatically.
@@hifijunkieTX you cannot compare it to the 2022 c coupe ofc there was everything cheaper. Compare it to todays c and e class and adjusted for extras the CLE is 1.5k more expensive than a c class and 8k cheaper than the e class.
There’s no way anyone would buy this new. It screams lease. Wait one year and it’ll depreciate to a price it’s actually worth. Definitely looking forward to getting one certified.
Test drive the cle450 last week, didn't like the white. am expecting to take delivery of an obsidian black in a few weeks.... This or the M440i xdrive, the Mercedes wons purely because the last two I've owned have been outstanding to own.
Great car if you lease it. Make sure to get rid of it before 80k. MBZ followed American auto makers’ idea that you have to make cars that fall apart. Because the BIG money is in OEM parts and repair!
As a 2022 E53 amg coupe owner - this is HORRIBLE. They discontinued the E and S coupe and gave us this soft looking woke turd. Let me park my Arabian grey E53 amg coupe next to this and tell me how bad new CLE is. Do not buy this crap please. MB is fooling us. I would rather get S5 or 4 series 6 cylinder coupe. Better power & performance at same price.
I would've got the amg e53, but the LACK of colorful interiors was a turn off. It was the one parameter that led to me getting the e450 instead. All brown, peanut butter interior, e450. It was between that or the all white interior, but I figured the peanut butter coupe would be easier to keep clean. I was so disappointed the e53 only had black OR black+limited color. They would've sold more e53 if they allowed colorful interiors!
If you're not mechanic inclined and cannot fix cars, I recommend you buy a mb 1 Yr old, about 10 - 20k miles. Use it for 2-3 years, and sell it within warranty. 😮 Otherwise buy a Toyota. I know it because I have both.
C class and has cheap interior like the C class. E and S class coupe are gone. This is smaller than my E53 amg coupe from 2022 and worse in every parameter but price is a bit lower.
@@shekondogyou can get real leather as an option and has the same infotainment system as the S class. Its 191 inches long and very close if not same with as the e class.
@@Troy-fv9uq Are you owner of a E53 amg or e class coupe? I have e53 amg coupe and new CLE is sub standard - both inside and outside. Compare and then see
I don’t know why but this interior just doesn’t look special to me anymore. The seats do look beautiful in that nice color, but the overall dashboard design just doesnt look that special anymore.
As a previous MB owner, let me enlighten you: 1- first you will be fooled into buying this just because of the name and fancy gimmicks. 2- in the first 6 months, you will regret your decision like hell for sensors going off for no reason and mechanical and electronic failures. - 3- all what I said that provoked your wrath probably can be proven by Consumer Reports 2023 reliability rating in which the venerable MB stood in the 29th place out of 30 brands. good luck
@@MercOne poor reliability (although same as with bmw), overpriced. You should take this list with a grain of salt as bmw is ranked #1 but on reality is as bad as mercedes
That’s why you can fall back on the warranty, I’ve owned an AMG and only had one issue in 3 years and they found the fault updated the software and all was good, all cars have problems and the more tech they have the more issues you’ll likely get, BMW for instance aren’t called BM trouble you for no reason. Go buy a Bugatti if you want less issues but at Bugatti money.
The interior is more C than E. And if it's built as poorly as the new C using just as poor materials then this is a miss. I've been so loyal to the brand but their new cars just disappoint me.
Mercedes SUCKS! Stick with BMW, Audi, or Porsche. Mercedes build quality is wayyy worse than it was 15+ years ago, not to mention the styling and pricing is insane!
It's when you see interiors of New Nautilus, Genesis G70 etc. that makes you wonder, what Mercs interior designers were thinking while finalizing this glued on tablet design...😤
This car is ok but I like my Bimmers and Benzs to be bigger. That interior could also use some work cause it be looking old. But if my boo got this for me I wouldn’t be mad but he best know I still want more boo boo!!!!
Mercedes has the tackiest interiors. All hollow, creaky plastic. Those displays look like off brand android tablets from 2017. I mean look at those 1 inch bezels on those things. Just so gross.
