Baseball America's Carlos Collazo joins to talk about Mock Draft 4.0. Risers, fallers, who should be number one, interesting names 30-21 and 20-11 and teams that could surprise. #mlb #mlbdraft #mlbmockdraft
As a PA guy I love Yesavage but the idea of him being a top 10 pick is borderline psychotic and proves mlb teams still don’t have any clue what they’re doing even with all the data in the world
For the Cardinals, if Hagan Smith is there you take him. I’m really hoping some team is high on a guy that we don’t expect, because if the Cardinals can add another high potential starter who is not far off from the bigs. Similar to their prospect Quin Matthews, that can fly up ranks. Cardinals may just pull off a rebuild while staying competitive all but one season
In most of the mock mlb drafts I have seen, including the more recent ones, Hagen Smith is selected by St Louis, ONE mock had him going to K.C. one pick earlier. I am going to figure that particular mock was the outlier.
@MarkRichardsonDigital I keep seeing people say JJ Wetherholt. Very talented (not quite as much as Bazzana) and that he wouldn't require the same amount as Bazzana to sign. That way Cleveland will have money left over out of their 10.5 million allotment to spend on other good players.
I especially like the idea of the Cubs drafting Brody Brecht because if they could fix his control that could be one of the best rotations in the MLB of Justin Steele Shota Imanaga Cade Horton Brody Brecht and Jamison Taillion or Jordan Wicks
Im really hoping honeycutt falls to the jays, I live the upside and the jays could really use another high upside outfielder, ik we need a catcher but im not really in love with any of catchers this year
