Jajaja Hey Jim didn't u pick The Cardinals to win it all last Year ??? If Im not mistaken. Difference a year makes huh . Correct me if I'm wrong. BTW I believe Nestor goes to the Bullpen when Cole45 comes back
Apparently you missed that Conforto is now on the IL (hamstring) and Lee (dislocated shoulder) there are currently 7 Giants on the IL and Bailey is out (virus) for a total of 8
Top 4 is hard, because you could make an argument for any of the top 3 to be #1 but at the same time it feels wrong to have the O's any more than one spot ahead of the Yankees because they're only half a game back. I also feel like record vs >.500 teams should be in here more because its kind of relevant to mention that the O's half a record half a game better than the Dodgers but are 14-5 vs >.500 and the Dodgers are 9-8. Phillies have only played 6(!!) games against teams above .500
As a Yankee fan, say it louder for the Phillies fans in the back. It’s the rays 2023 all over again. Playing nothing but bad teams for 1 month straight 😂 choked by the end and the orioles, a team I believe never lost a series until September, won the division
Fire Schneider, Mattingly, Atkins and the hitting coach Martinez. Make Hale interim manager, Click GM and Hague hitting coach. Try and trade Vlad if you can get a good package and anyone else who will be a free agent soon while still keeping the team somewhat competitive. Bring up Horwitz and play springer less. Put Swanson in the minors.
What also annoys me is that Danny Jansen is not playing every day. He is one of the very few jays that is hitting right now. He needs to play every day whether it’s C or DH
Padres are a sleeping giant their stars are sleeping but when your fourth outfielder is hitting 300 your catcher is hitting 280. And our rookie Jackson Merle hitting 280. Bottom of the lineup producing. Other teams better hope our Stars stay sleep. Lol
How close to the teams are you? It’s It well known the front office and the analytics department run the show. Springer makes 25 mil a year and the front office says he hits first!
Astros are probably fine. Their back end of the pen were blowing games. Huge swing in the record if they close even half those blown saves. They've turned it around recently and their schedule is getting easier. Postseason? We'll see I guess.
I've been saying it for a few weeks now about the Astros. They've got a serious leadership problem. I'm not talking about player leadership, management leadership.
The season is at the 25% mark for just about every team. It's no longer early. Short of getting impact guys from early injury, a rookie igniting the team, or somehow adding a big trade piece, teams are who they are.
@@angelaleaga718 I can agree with that. Hell, my Cubs were 10 games under mid June of last year and nearly made the playoffs. Sometimes I think it's s much about how the team feels, especially with respect toward their manager. The three teams talked about tonight don't seem to like their manager.
For me, after 10% of the way through the season, I don't wanna hear the "it's early" excuse at all. After that point, your team is what it is, and it's up to everybody on the team to make it work from there. It's the middle of May ffs, it's not early anymore.
It’s getting ugly for the Rangers too, if they keep up this pace of consistent injuries and getting swept by bottom tier teams they’ll be at the bottom of their division in no time…
Astros were also series losers to the Nationals and Mariners, while being swept the four times by Yankees, Cubs, Braves, Royals this year so far, meaning that they suck but have a lot of injured players. Almost half their wins are due to Blanco. Verlander and Valdez have had rough starts but both are pitching better now and back to their winning ways. The Astros will be in first or second place by August 1st, when their injured players are back and make it to the playoffs.
Blue Jays fan here and I remember our play by play people saying all last year that Springer was having an off year last year. He isn't even close to last years numbers and still he is in the lead off spot. I believe it is way past time that changed.
