Every team has players that can grow exponentially over an off-season. Whether it be mentally, physically, or a combination of both. Thes OTAs and mini-camps often give us a glimpse into who has been motivated to take their careers to the next level. Here are a few players that we believe have a shot to really increase their output in 2024 for the Steelers.

Great group of guys to choose from! Herbig and CA3 with Calvin having the slight edge. If he steps up and with above average QB we can make serious noise this year!

Out of those three, Austin, Herbig and D. Washington, I would say Austin or Herbig. I think Arthur Smith will be able to scheme better and WR Calvin Austin will benefit from it. But I'm going with OLB Nick Herbig, we've already seen how productive he is on the field. Tj Watt is nearing 30 and I think the Steelers will monitor his reps in 2024, and Herbig will get more snaps.

Gotta go with CA3. But, I think herbig will score a TD this year.

Agree. Washington must be more than a 6th O lineman. Until proven, no D will respect him as a weapon. Herbig can allow the starters to have something left in the tank for the post-season. I am pulling for Austin because his success takes much pressure off the O.

The starting wide receiver core for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024 is going to be George Pickens 1, Van Jefferson 2 and Calvin Austin the third is going to be our starting slot receiver.
