Steelers Almighty is a channel dedicated to the most high NFL franchise of them all...the Pittsburgh Steelers. When one is chosen to become a Steelers they BLEED Black & Yellow until the day they meet their maker. We did not CHOOSE to be Steelers fans...we were CHOSEN!
In light of this, I, Big B Brien Hanley, shall hold the prestigious position on covering all events Almighty.....in Steeler Nation. Live shows, podcasts, interviews, pre and post game coverage, & reactions.
Heavy is the crown of a Steelers fan. Heavy is the burden. Heavy is the weight of the STEEL CURTAIN!We did not CHOOSE to be Steelers fans...we were CHOSEN!
Love the content, but we haven't even gotten into training camp. Make those rookies earn it. Talent is one thing but learning how to be a professional is a process. Day one is a long way from now.
Every NFL center has played center for years so I’m confused by that point. Do we start all of them? Are there not levels? Besides…I WANT Frazier to start. Unlike the reports that have Herbig starting at center.
@SteelersAlmighty My point is that this guy was going on about how Frazier may not be a good center and may not start. And how last year the Steelers center was a mistake. Well, I forget about last year. This is a new year, and we have drafted a legitimate center. So, let's just wait and see how things go. I think we will be fine. Besides, there will be plenty of time to talk about who's not working out and who is. Crazy. This guy. I don't care for this guy negative attitude. The season hasn't started yet, and he goes on and on about what might happen.
couldnt agree more!!!!! steelers are so traditional they are set in very old ways where they want to wait to start rookies just like they did with joey porter jr even tho he was clearly ready day 1. we all know what we drafted these guys to do so let them do it!!!
What's the difference between a 1st team reps and any other for a rookie lineman? Maybe in skill positions it could matter but isn't it more mental than physical for lineman in OTAs.
Brian the RB’s are on rookie deals, as are George and Calvin. The free agent wr’s that they have are being paid appropriately. Don’t spend money on players who aren’t worth it. TE’s are on rookie contracts as well. Pat F will get money that he is worth. The guards are the most experienced players on O-line the rest are on rookie deals. So the Steelers are spending appropriately based off talent and experience that they have right now.
People just keeping repeating this BS because their grandpas said it. The Bengals went to a Super Bowl with a horrible offensive line because they had great QB play and awesome skill position players on offense
#CHEAP WE NEED TO MAKE A SPLASH ON OFFENSE SOMEWHERE!!!!!! IDK about the rest of the fanbase but i want najee back next year he deserves to be paid 3 years over 1k with below average O line play. Make Najee a Steeler for life!!!!!
I’m with you on everything but Najee. I don’t think they should spend big to keep him and I don’t think the market is gonna command his services to where it pushes the price up.
But we went 5/1 in division last season.we can wait next season for another premier wr. I wouldn't make San. F. An even better SB contender than they already are.
I laugh every time you folks bring up 5-1. Last years over. Your entire division was missing their QB> You play the 3rd hardest schedule this year. Your math sucks.
We got to the playoffs last year with a room full of sucky quarterbacks. ( except when Mason Rudolph came alive at Christmas time), and no offense whatsoever, and still managed to beat the Ravens twice ( and btw, we typically beat Lamar as well). 3 of the teams in our division made the play offs last year. Had we had had a decent Quarterback last year we would have won our division, but we lost to two teams we shouldn't have lost to because our Quarterbacks sucked. We are a completely different team this year. We got rid of the dead weight who weren't putting their all into winning, have an entirely new quarterback room with a Superbowl winner among them and a backup with legs, and added some tough hard working players determined to win it all. But go ahead and underestimate us.
Just about everyone on offense, except those guards are on rookie deals, so they are going to be cheap. And we just happen to have a QB on a veteran minimum contract. We aren’t paying a QB, but we need cap space going into next year with an uncertain QB situation. Friermuth may get extended. Whoa, they aren’t on rookie deals? Who are you looking at? Go through the offensive roster. There was shit on the free agent market at WR and if you’re looking at a trade, it’s not just that they are asking for too much money, we would also have to give up insane amounts of draft capital for the teams to give up Aiyuk or Sutton. Next year’s draft is supposed to be extremely deep due to kids staying in college longer due to Covid and NIL. After looking at our last two drafts under Omar, do you really want to give away multiple high round draft picks for the privilege of overpaying a WR? No thanks.
Ithink they could get Sutton for a third round pick. I agree with you about Aiyuk. Not good enough to. make that kind of money. But they can go get Sutton. But where have the Steelers spent the money? Diontae johnson, guards and a terrible tackle. Thats not how you win in todays football.
@@Big12Insiders they are paying 2 top 20 guards for well under current market value. Dionte Johnson isn’t even on the team and if the terrible tackle you are referring to is Dan Moore? (Who they have already drafted a replacement for)Then he is also on a rookie deal.
@@jagmdDaniels is overpaid and won't be on the team next year. The tackle they paid was Chuks. Who again was awful. They can go get Sutton and give him the same money we were giving Johnson. Only he is better than Johnson.
@@bigbsportstalk Chuks is also no longer the team , and Daniels would command a much higher salary in the current market, certainly not overpaid. If he’s not on the team next year, it’s because they don’t want to pay him what he’s worth, not that he’s currently being overpaid.
Daniels is overpaid because he isnt that good. Issac is much better for the same price. All of this to say they still havent paid skill guys. Thats just a fact. I know your arguing just to argue at this point. I get it. But we wont win until we paid skill guys to help us win. @@jagmd
Brotha give Omar khan a chance let’s let him prepare the meat before the meal starts cooking. I hear ya but the money will start to go to worthy O players
Fields isn't the future, I don't know why people are riding his meat so hard when he's done absolutely nothing but lose, yeah we all know he was on the Bears but if you put any other QB that's said to be good on that team and they win more games than they did with Fields, when Fields gets his shot to play you'll all see that he's trash and you'll be calling for the backup and say Trade Fields for a vending machine
@SteelersAlmighty Yeah you could say that, I just honestly don't think he's the future of the franchise or any franchise, do I hope he proves me wrong, absolutely, but I'm not gonna hold my breathe
