We are obviously biased but those Carthagos are just stunning. Some of the van conversions available now are fantastic also and it doesn’t matter whether you have a top of the range, liner style motorhome or an old camper van, it’s all about the memories you create. Great vlog as always Martin. We loved listening to the whooping and hollering from the sales teams as they geared up for the doors opening. The “Things can only get Better” track maybe indicated a bit more was needed! We looked inside the big Morelo Empire Liner. And wondered why anyone would want one (apart from a car park for the Porsche)! Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and your talk too and lovely to meet you both 👍
Thanks guys , great to finally meet you to. We didn’t look at the ‘big buses’ , it’s a different sort of experience to the one we’re interested in. We did spend a weekend in Spain at site full of Morelo’s and Concords . We were like a Fly on an elephants back 😂. Thanks for coming to watch us , you do worry that no one will come at 3.30pm on a week day , so much appreciated indeed at this end. Visited the show on Tuesday which was cut short by roofers finishing our new house roof, wandered with friends who were shed draggers so not interested in MH’s, saw you briefly, but sadly not able to introduce ourselves and missed your talk, we decided to visit again today Sunday to do things properly. Our focus was on fixed bed MH’s with a decent lounge, under 3.5 tonnes, as we are both 70 next year and don’t want the faff of applying for our C1 + they needed a decent payload. Rare as hens teeth. Surely it’s time the industry tackled the government on this 3.5 tonne over 70 rule which must be in their interest to get changed as most of the possible models we put on our list were either 4.5 tonne or had an unachievable payload and once loaded would have been way over 3.5 tonne. Always love the show and yes we did peep at the glitter ball big ticket ones and then realised how fortunate we are to own a Motorhome which has served us well over 8 years and 60,000 miles and taken us to places we would have never been to if we hadn’t bought our beloved Sunlight. Keep up the good work M&H and maybe see you on the road in Spain next year.
Hi sorry we didn't get chance to say hello , Spain sounds like a plan right now doesn't it. We ran a half marathon this morning in the rain and wind , on the finish line after we'd got our breath back both said to each other - It's time for Spain. I feel your pain on the 3.5 t issue , craziness really and it's impossible to find a decent payload with the 3,5t we think. We'd have to tow trailer 😂 . Great comment and thoughts about how luxurious do you want to be when camping? It’s a balance, probably moves to more to comfort as you get older. The whole idea is surely it’s a bit of a cheaper holiday coupled with being closer to nature etc. By the way, my mate and I saw you in passing at the show but looked like you were leaving after a long day so didn’t want to stop you for a chat.Just said we liked your channel!
Very good points made and balanced, I worry about families it was always a way families could escape work and urban life for a while . I think we’ll have more to say in this in the next video. Really do love the channel but this one for us had a little too many photographers. You clearly love photography and are a good photographer, maybe another channel for this as well watch you both for the travels in the van and all things van. Hi, thanks for the feedback and it's timely as I have just started a second channel for the very purpose of developing the photography side of things. It seems to polarise opinion some like it some don't , so like yourselves I came the conclusion that a second channel was the compromise.
