4.67 with a non PP car and stick is a great time. I had a 19’ GT Premium 401A PP1 stick which brand new, came with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Really good tires for street/track. In 19’ they were one of the best tires you could buy for a hybrid application. Still a really good tire even today. My best was 4.4. I now hav a 21’ GT Premium 401a PP1 stick which brand new, came with the Pirelli P Zero UHP tires. Same Ultra High Performance tire category as the Michelin PS4S on my 19’ but simply not as good of a tire and I have yet to see a 24’ in person but I’m almost certain it’s the same tires they throw on the24’ Performance Package. Deduced from the videos I’ve seen. My best in my 21’ on Pirellis was 4.6. At first I didn’t understand how the exact car, same specs just diff year and color could have such a great differential in times. Even did the tests on same vacant street at same lunch points. All came down to the tire, plain and simple. Your gearing is diff too and my S550 PP has an LSD, I’m not sure if non PP 24’s have an LSD or not? What does all that say? Well your 4.67 either tells me you’re a much better driver than me or the S650 is def a faster car. And 2/10 is a lot of time in these runs. The layman may not think so but these newer perf cars are tech marvels compared to my 1st Mustang and my 2nd car, 1st car I bought on my own. 93’ FOX GT with the 5 speed. I bet you slap some legit UHP Z rated summer tires on and you shave that to 4.3-4.4 Great videos man, I like your approach. Enjoy!
Nice job on the 0-60. My best when I had my 2020 mustang GT manual was 4.9. I had 235s all around. It's fun! And it stores your all time best indefinitely?
That's great to hear, considering I heard the 24 was slower than the 18 - 23 years. I have a 19 GT Premium, 10 spd Auto, Magna ride and PP1 and best I could get was 4.0, which isn't bad at all.
How much practice you got there buddy? Were you shooting a video as well? There are so many variables it quite honestly makes your comment silly and irrelevant.
