If the digital screen was integrated into the shape of an actual dashboard it would of got me over the line to trade in my s550 stang for this but I just cannot bear to have a giant tv screen in front of me when I drive.

I honestly love the new S650 but I think I’ll keep my Mach 1 for now, I’m really loving the GT PP or the Dark Horse but is it worth trading in the Mach 1 for one of these ????? not gonna lie, though I really want one, but I really love my M1 at the same time… 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Keep your Mach 1. Looking at dyno numbers and 1/4 times, your car is faster anyway and the Mach 1 package will hold value better too.

Mach 1 is a heck of a car! In your position, the biggest reason you should be wanting this car is for the updated tech and while yes it may be slower on the dyno I'll argue that it drives much better. There's Positives and Negatives for sure

The review was kinda silly but the car is nice and specd just the way I would do it but at $60K I feel its about $13K or so over priced. Not a fan of those rims and the tires need to be bigger.

Looks better in person than I thought. Still don't like the video game dash though, but I'm almost as old as the Mustang! At least it has hood struts! I looked at the one you had in the showroom on Saturday. You were a busy man so I didn't bother you. IDK about $60k though. That's $23k more than my 16 premium GT PP was.

A 2016 GT Premium with Performance pack and well optioned like the car in the video had an MSRP around $45k. Adjusted for inflation, that comes out to over $57k in today's dollars. Given the extra content/power/equipment, the 2024 is about the same price, and arguably a better value than your 2016 was when it was new.

@@dean68w19 mine was $41,275 sticker, I'm looking at it now. Ruby Red tricoat Premium PP with nav and parking sensors as the options. I paid about $37k for it. I ran the numbers and to me it looks like the MSRP for a comparable 2024 car has risen to about $56k. That does include the copilot 360 which is required with the navigation option. So a $14,500 increase over 8 years is about $1,800 per year. That's a lot more than the price increase from my 87 that was $11,737 MSRP. I paid $10,400 for it new. That's an increase of $29k over 29 years compared to my 16. I didn't run a spreadsheet to calculate a percentage increase per year, but I still think the increase over the past several years is more than it should be. Of course if Ford is selling them, good for them. But I won't be buying a new one at that price. I'd rather have a nice GT-350 instead.

@dean68w19 Well said. Most don't take into consideration inflation. I bought a 2008 EVO X GSR in 2008 and paid around $34,000. People said that was too much back then but it was a amazing car.

Meh, twin throttle bodies? Ford put those in to compensate for the restrictive filters and carbon traps. Ford is advertising 500 crank hp, but for some reason the previous mustangs that were rated at 460 crank are putting down more wheel hp on the dyno than these new Mustangs. Ford hasn’t given us an explanation for this as of yet. More restrictive exhaust? Carbon trap deletes hasn’t seemed to restore the lost power on the dyno tests that are out there. This thing is really starting to look like a dud.
