Your living room looks beautiful both ways. I would keep the sectional since you can arrange it both ways. It looks great as an L shape and as 2 sofas when you changed the corner pieces to the same ends. You will have options when you get bored lol. Love your videos,tfs!!❤

I feel like if you host a lot, 2 sofas would be better. People like sitting on the ends, and 2 sofas would have 4 "end" seats and no weird corner seat that everyone avoids. But if you do not host a ton, then I like the sectional better. It is more comfortable to lay down in the corner seat with your feet up. If you had recliners, it wouldn't matter as much, but you don't seem like a recliner kind of girl. ;)

The way was rearranged is more practical for a conversational area, it looks more like a family space, and separate from the kitchen.

The iron on hemming, I did on my curtains once 14 years ago and they still hold! The only thing I suggest is when you wash them, wash in cool water and don’t dry them because the heat can loosen separate the glued seam😊

We always go with a sectional! More accommodating for a family! I would suggest getting a big larger rug, to go completely under the sectional 💕

It just depends on what your purpose is. The sectional gives the room a better flow. However, if your purpose is watching TV, I would go with the two sofas and recliners.

Hi Ashley. I'm loving the two seperate sofa look! However, if it were me, I would keep this furniture and just switch it up! Whenever I want a sectional look, I'll put the pieces together. Hate to make you spend more money, but you need two matching sofas and a round leather or suede coffee table that the club chair occupants can reach with their feet. Tray in the middle of the large ottoman for your decor items. Choose something in the natural leather color range or deep brown to mix up the darks. Just my opinion.

Okay, I absolutely love, love, love the 2 couches and the 2 chairs facing the TV. The reason I believe is that it balances the furniture better. I love symmetry and balance! I like the look of the two sofas, but i really love the sectional. I actually did just what you suggested with my sofa and love seat, i have them arranged in an L shape to mock a sectional, and i love it. I am currently window shopping for a sectional, but i want one like yours that i can change the configuration. I'm in love with your home! #goals ❤

I love the final look!!! and actually because it’s not a sectional you you have the freedom to change it around when you get tired of it or when you have things going on and you need more space or what it’s like this and it’s facing each other if it’s a game night or you have gas and you want to just visit you can actually look and see each other. I moved into my home 3 years ago and decided to not purchase a sectional and chose 2 sofas facing each other in front of the fireplace and I love it. No regrets. It is elegant and symmetrical. My brain loves it 😄

I have used the hem tape on pj’s it washes fine. It is handy to use instead of sewing.😊 I like the furniture the second way with the arms on the other side.
