I assume they don't want to use the marquee teams to go into time zones where their audiences are less likely to want or even be able to watch. That or they just really suck at predicting which teams will be worth a damn season to season. They did after all decide the Giants should have all the prime time games last season.
I know Khan likes putting the Jags in London so that's part of it, other than that no clue. The games are also made worse by the fact that the grass and turf used in the stadiums are frequently installed for the game and are not the greatest quality.
To be fair, the last games here in germany were the Brady Bucks vs the Seahawks and then Dolphins vs Chiefs and Colts vs Patriots... ok, the last one doesnt count...
I don’t think you’re giving the Vikings enough credit calling them a bad team they aren’t bad at all The defense is being coached by Brian Flores with a bunch of very smart players on that side of the ball KOC is one of the more underrated new offensive coaches in the league Putting the game away relying on the 3rd 4th & 5th receivers is just good play calling & Darnold stepping up to the plate
Personally I hope Darnold keeps this up and has a renaissance. The thing is though, I feel like we said something similar about Darnold in Carolina to start just a couple years ago and we acted like Josh Dobbs was going to take the Vikings to the playoffs just last season. Maybe the Vikings aren't bad but I think it's still fair for people to assume a certain ceiling for the team using Sam Darnold.
@@bigbearkat2010 i know the name Sam Darnold bring up a lot of different debates but this is the best situation he’s ever been in & im not expecting the vikes to goto the promise land with him but i think he’s gonna have a good season & probably get a big bag somewhere else next season
As a vikings fan I didn't have expectations this year beyond "show signs that we are building something good", but I agree: while two weeks is a small sample size I don't think you can call us "bad". Punching above our weight a bit on offense? Maybe, but that defense doesn't look like a fluke to me. Win or lose, a competitive game against the Texans I think will maybe start to change the narrative that rumors of our demise post-kirk were exaggerated.
As a Rams fan, I'm hurt. We're now victims of Injury plague. Props to the Cardinals blowing us out and snap the home losing streak. We didn't deserve it, but anything happens will happen
He's terrible. He's not athletically gifted with a cream puff arm, and he runs his coach's scheme like a college playbook, he has such a terrible habits of throwing to just his first or second read he'll throw into double coverage. He also chooses to completely create pressure for himself by scrambling for NO reason, the worst part is that he's worse than last year even while his team went out and got a first round reciever AND Diontae Johnson.. he will never be good, Russell Wilson was 5'10 too but the reason he didnt get rocked is because he was 30-40 pounds heavier and STILL a dual threat. Bryce young belongs in the UFL.
To think the 49ers are the best team in football is hilarious. Also, Patriots did not deserve to lose that way in OT. I really like the direction the team is going for rebuilding. I think Jerod Mayo may have been the perfect choice to replace belichick at head coach
Im sorry for Bryce for ending with the panthers. He probably never would have become the best ever but panthers are such a QB graveyard and all of them that were horrible there recently like baker and Darnold now seem to be goodnto great suddenly. Hope he gets another chance with another team and is not completly mentally broken
Fun Fact: as a Seahawks fan that has watched every game in the last decade (who was NOT sold on Geno as anything other than an okay backup for a while after Russ left), he really hasn’t been any worse than Russ was over his last three seasons with the team. You could make an argument for the “Let Russ Cook” era, but if you go back and watch the tape it becomes pretty obvious that that wasn’t going to last because of how one dimensional his game was at that point. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that Geno is a top 5 QB in the league or anything, but, realistically, I AM saying that the signs were there that Russ wasn’t either over those last few seasons. Long story short, Geno really wasn’t much of a downgrade, and this team has always been solid to good.
Tuesday tub is better than Thursday prime football 1:08 you somehow kept a straight face. Well done. Tom needs some gorilla tape by the way. He will escape again. 2:11 bottom 10 qb 6:11 one step closer
People need to understand that Seattle had a massive coaching overhaul where almost none of the hires had ever worked together. Once they get more time on task, the team will be more cohesive and start to scare people fr
One thing with Bryce is that he was on a stacked high school team and then an even more stacked college team. He’s never been on a team that wasn’t objectively better than every opponent and he hasn’t been able to make up for any weaknesses.
I don’t think Bryce Young a Bust , you can’t just throw a rookie (even tho a #1 pick) to the wolves with a bad team and excect them to be all that good
My Seahawks won, they are 2-0, I know, WTF. So that’s great and the Cowboys getting their asses kicked was a thing of beauty. Congrats on the Raiders. Good recap.
I don’t think he’ll ever do one. As a fellow Raider fan the delusional runs deep inside us. There is just too much to talk about. He would need to set it up decade by decade or some kind of chapter like commissioners. So that would be like at least 6-7 hours of content. Nobody is going to watch that.
TubFrog sleeping on the Bills. This iteration would turn a 2024 Lawrence Taylor and a 2024 Dick Butkus into Pro Bowl alternates. Diggs is gone, the cloud is lifted. There was much rejoicing. Go Bills.
I think that's the third time a team with three fewer touchdowns than their opponent has won the game. The others AFAIK were Titans 38, Texans 36 (Houston went for two during a furious comeback attempt to get to 32-29, also RIP to a real one, Rob Bironas) in 2007 and Vikings 23, Rams 21 in 1989 (Minnesota won the game in overtime on a safety from a blocked punt). I only checked games with 7 or more field goals. It's possible to do it with only 6 - for example, 6 with a touchdown and two two-point conversions, one on each side of the ball, vs. four touchdowns with a blocked PAT run back for two for a 28-27 final score. So, there may be others, but that's unlikely.
It’s amazing that when we decide to not try and force the run we beat teams as good as the ravens our defense is top 5 if our offense could just be average all year we make the playoffs!
I loved how Collinsworth said Williams was, "running the offense." Two games in, last week was a train wreck, and after Caleb removed his nail polish and completed six or seven short passes, all of a sudden he was "running the offense." Collinsworth. He should wear kneepads to the games.
FINALLY some love for my seahawks :) We are better than we get credit for and I have been saying it all offseason. Granted we havent beaten anyone of note yet, but 2-0 is 2-0
Chargers are good, whether you wanna admit it or not. Name me one position outside of receiver where we didn't get better in the offseason. And even the receiver part has been overblown.
The Vikings aren't going to the Super Bowl or anything this year but to pretend like they're still a bad team after what they've shown in the first two weeks this year is just disingenuous. There are absolute studs on the offensive side of the ball and no defensive coordinator is doing more with less than Brian Flores.
chargers are good top 5 def and only allowed 1TD in 2 games beating the panthers is not much but we absolutely destroyed the raiders and the raiders are supposed to be a good team
