I've been following you for about a year and I feel like I'm getting an idea for where the teams stand and strengths etc. now I just need to learn more about the players. I have wanted to follow the NPB for a while but it wasn't until your channel that I felt that I could understand the league more than just watching scores. Thank you so much.

This will be my first season watching npb and even baseball, id never seen any games before deciding to give npb a shot, i dtarted watching PLTV english games that they covered and the Samurai Japan games

Losing Sho Kusaka before the season even started was a big gut-punch as a Dragons fan who just wanted to see even minimal progress. Although it's not like he would've fixed their hitting woes, and the Dragons are weirdly the only team that's capable of absorbing the loss of high-impact pitching (as them "surviving" Kodai Umetsu being MIA every year has shown).

Interesting thing about the how the Giants preseason is going is that only Keller out of all the reliever acquisitions that were made seems like is going to make the opening day bullpen, with a surge of younger arms. Our rotation looks better as well, it improved throughout last year and Rei Takahashi seems like a potential Ohtake situation given his unique delivery. Wish I could have the same confidence for our bats, but the outfield is truly a mystery. I would be pleasantly surprised if Odor can have a positive impact, given his numbers in the majors and pretty much first timing the right field. Lots of our power will depend on him and our aging veterans Sakamoto and Maru, both of which are being moved to a defensively less intense position with hopes that they maintain better health. Especially Sakamoto is going to be massively important given we've pretty much kicked out an above average bat in Nakata to move Okamoto to first and accommodate him at third.

CL Tigers Baystars Swallows Giants Carp Dragons PL Buffaloes Hawks Lions Marines Fighters Eagles I think Shinnosuke Abe will be the "Tatsunami of TOKYO". This year Baystars changes their strategy in offence,but they can't win Tigers so they will be Second place.

I'm hoping the carps will at least make it even more difficult for the tigers to defend the title. While my heart hopes they'll at least reach the final my head says they'll lose against the tigers again

Aside from being shocked to see my dear Marines being ranked on 4th, I have a very bad feeling that shinnosuke Abe is going to be a nightmare as a manager. He’s a very old-school Showa guy, doing nonsense bs, and I could easily picture him destroying the team like Tatsunami did. I’m stoked for the lineup though
