To put it in perspective, In South Korea, although it’s beautiful in its own way, the most challenging one there is not as good as Killington in Vermont. So visiting any mountain on the west side of North America is a mind blowing experience. As a kid, I played ski/snowboard games on Nintendo and PC, and the backgrounds in those games in the display always made me wonder where those places could be. And, I wanted to visit those kind of places in real life. I’m guessing those ski games are modeled after some ski places in Colorado, whistler. When you play those games, it looks endless,flat, sparse tree groups, fallen logs, etc. one day, I aspire to visit Colorado ski resorts.
@@owen_som Killington is great for the East coast, but it really doesn't compare to some of the mountains out West. I say this living in New England dreaming of past and future vacations out West.
@zman7689 yup, it doesn't compare at all. Grew up on the east coast and moved out west. I won't even consider the east coast anymore. It's just not worth the money for someone who has to travel a few hours(MA to VT) and stay over night The east coast is very gnarly though and formed me into the snow athlete I am today. East coast is way colder too

Great stuff Lucas! Heading to Vail on Nov 30 with my 10 year old son for 4 days of skiing. Some father - son bonding. With 3 other kids, I find it awesome to do a bit of 1 on 1 time. Seems you have fun skiing with your dad as well. Hope and pray for a storm or 2 before we get there...
love that you post your stats. Its gives a good feel of what you are doing that day on the mountain. watching the two vids back to back (Vail then Breck). I was for certain you were carrying more speed on Ramshorn at Vail then 4oclock at Breck. It was close, but I was wrong :) Cant wait to get out West to ski this year!

It is probably too far but i think it would be funny if you did a east coast skiing day or trip get some funny moments and gives a different perspective on skiing

Vail sucks. Don’t go. As soon as you get speed they have signs and barricades slowing you down. And the terrain park sucks. They are liability scared and it shows
I love VAIL , had great skiing with my daughter and boyfriend, my heart is still at SQUAW ! ( I hate the name new change , and the logo is soooo ugly! ] 🎿⛷️🏂❄️⛄️
I made it to squaw (stupid changing names) 2015 but was too late to ski. But did ski Kirkwood and Heavenly loved them both! Utah has the best snow I feel!
