There was a time in preretirement working life when I had to think about how water and weathering affected landscapes (fancy terms: fluvial and terrestrial geomorphology). Don't have to think about those things anymore on a daily basis, but I love your sweeping vista shots because it draws me back in to the "how did this happen" moment...and Today....OMG on the views... Thanks for that, and Happy Trails!!!
I know that the Sierra doesn’t really have “the feels” for you but it sure does for me 😄 thank you for sharing such spectacular scenery and dealing with the skeeters! I’m waiting for a few weeks before I head up to Donner for flowers. Skeeters should have had their fill on you by then and be gone. 😂😂😂😂
I thought I reached the end of the video, when you started adding the music. Amazing footage and relaxing hike all day. Everybody together and perfect timing of the wind to push away the mosquitos. A memorable PCT day as you are exiting the Sierras.
Yeah, this was a great day of hiking! Beautiful scenery, nice trail, getting a swim that didn't turn you blue, and the background music they had along the trail was perfect😂 It appears you are hiking in a mixed conifer forest, some of those yes look like fir. I hope the shock of South Lake Tahoe won't overwhelm the peace you felt today.
