Great stuff Suzanne, Earen and Dighty, hope Dighty is back in top form again, that is some light set up for sure, sorry did not realise I was so far back on vids, will catch up, Thank You👌👍🙏🙂
It really kind of fleshes out the path a bit . . . it used to be better maintained years ago but we haven't used it much the last few years. This is a good reminder of what it could be again :)
Hey Sue, I think your purposed planting plots looks ok with me. Gave you another 👍👍. Haven't had much snow here in Illinois near St. Louis area, have tractor ready if it does Bye 💖💖
I really enjoy watching your projects on the farm and you are very entertaining! I was wondering if you all will be going to the National Farm Show in Louisville next week ?
Normally it's not an issue since solar panels attract the sun and melt it off pretty quick (from watching my big panels next to my cabin). We don't get too much snow between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but even if we did, the timer on the lights should keep the batteries juiced up pretty good until the snow fully clears ;)
If it was me I would have bought 20 ft foot green treated poles and drilled a hole in the ground and mounted them on their own poles !!and angled them for the sun's direction!! But good job!
If there isn't a branch below the string trimmer damage, the tree doesn't have a chance. It's not a deciduous tree. I like your lights, but I think poles would work better. Also you can decorate the poles. I have coyotes here. I always worry about them carrying off my dog for a meal.
I asume you have to do a lot of mowing. Have you ever considered ducks to help mow the grass? Depending on your area there can be a good market for duck eggs.
LOL, so we actually have bought a small flock of geese with plans to have them eat the grass around the trees and hopefully NOT the trees themselves. We plan to release the babies out there and the idea is they will be too small to eat them and just learn NOT to eat them...
@@This1LifeWeLive that's cool. Kinda makes me wonder if you would be able to pasture geese, and turkeys out there. Be pretty neat if you could sell turkeys for thanksgiving and Christmas geese
