I'm currently shopping for a used GTS, agree about the 18 way seats, sport chrono pkg, and premium pkg. 18 way seats are hard to find in the used market. Black wheels are nice but not necessary. I found the surround view is nice to have when parking. I want roof rails for a future roof storage box and adaptive cruise control for long road trips. Overall the GTS is an amazing SUV.
I just picked up a 2021 chalk/red GTS w 18way seats 35k miles under warranty until 12/25 or 50k miles plus 2yr cpo on top of that, black roof rails, trailer hitch, ppl on front, windows tinted for $60,000 plus tax.
I can’t stand the black wheels, and in my opinion getting black wheels is like fading away the design of the spokes, that differs one wheel from another.
Figure on any unit UNDER warranty: around $1,200 to $1,500/yr. for the Macan. Porsche recommends using their dealerships for routine maintenance and oil changes...and the price for oil change is roughly anywhere from $699 to $1,200 but is generally around $800 or thereabouts. Oil changes include a number of other services for example including making sure the roof draining system works properly. For example, the 30,000 mile "check up" can cost anywhere between $1,200 to as much as $4,500 (New York City is ln the more expensive end) as they have a "multi-point" check up and they'll probably find some routine maintenance items to replace (things not covered by the warranty). Once the warranty is over, you're at the mercy of the Porsche dealerships' hourly labor fee, which I understand is easily $225/hour and in some areas, over $300/hour. I would figure that for a Macan, annual maintenance including labor at a Porsche dealership should easily run $2,500/year, but remember: it's how often you drive, where you store/park your Macan, and how "gently" or "aggressively" you drive. I have a 20-year old Acura TL that for the first 18 years of ownership cost me almost nothing to maintain...nothing went wrong but after 175,000 miles a few things (starter motor, rusted rear brake calipers) and I ended up spending about $11,000 over 2.5 years with various and sundry dealership repairs (timing belt, Oxygen sensor, ventilation damper replacement, front ball joints, center rear view mirror replacement, etc., etc.. I'm now waiting for my Macan to be delivered soon. Some electronics are starting to show their age, but I've been lucky. Had I owned a Porsche, I'm sure the annual maintenance would have been MUCH HIGHER. I was told by an experienced Porsche owner: "Buy a 2.5 to 3-year old Porsche that was on a low-mileage lease and that is "dealership certified". It will have low mileage and a six-year + 100,000 mile warranty. It will cost you 30% to 35% less than brand-new Porsche and it'll be in near-perfect condition. I considered that but I wanted a Macan fitted with various things (such as NOT a black interior) so I went nuts and ordered a new Macan S. I'll pay a ton of money for it, but it'll be built "my way".
