I have an AEV XL RAM 3500 mega cab with Ram boxes. Installed larger fuel tank, diamond back cover, rear winch ( built this off AEV rear bumper) front and rear lockers. Ultimate search and rescue machine. Plenty of lights to go along with this machine. And AEV PAINT JOB OF BLACK on the hood, roof, tailgate, and lower vehicle on delmonico Red Me personally, lockers should be a perquisite for this machine along with the price point. THE Ram trucks go straight from the factory to AEV in Michigan where the Ram is transformed
How you liking it a few months later? Looking at the same one as u 2022 ram 3500 mega cab aev xl for 94k msrp was 138k..... Want some real world feedback though..
Mine is a 2024 model year. Have had it now for 9 months No issues at all. I think the 2025 model year with the ZF transmission will definitely add a nice touch of smoothness with the shifting.
don't matter what it has, or doesn't come with or even how much it costs lol ... this bugger is sweet and if i had the extra $$$ I would buy it just because of the size lol ... Ty for sharing
while thats a nice truck, the pricing on that thing if FKD! How do they go from $83k MSRP to $90k "stock vehicle price"? That makes zero sense. $7K price difference with NOTHING added. Nice way to hide dealer markup.....all those "optional" features are listed on the OEM sticker already for $83k. seriously, these dealers can eat a dK....If you have this much money and dont see that kind of dealer bs happening, you deserve to get fkd.
This is not a utilitarian vehicle, as a matter of fact none of these specialty vehicles are meant to be "trucks" they are meant to be fun overlanding vehicles so a rack or a camper would make more sense.
to answer more specifically, you can tow with it depending on the rig and payload weight. Example if you tow a bumper pull lightweight rv, should be fine. But when you have a 35 ft fifth wheel, 4 adults, pet, gear, water in tanks and a full diesel tank, and driving in the hill country, then you get the point. 😜but beautiful truck!!
RIP that 68RFE with 40” tires. AEV should at least put 4:10 differential. Almost $2k for that ridiculous spare tire eye sore set-up?! Just goes to show you how overpriced that AEV stuff is.
Why pay for wheels and tires, and the bumpers for 3yrs-8yrs. Depending on your loan. Get them after you buy a high level Big Horn or Laramie. Much cheaper then
very nice truck, too expensive, can't tow with it much. I'd like to see the previous owners comment about his Ram 3500 AEV XL Ram 3500. Sounds like a great truck!
