It's GOT to be the Oilers cup now... the McDavid driven, fairytale reverse sweep is on the verge of coming true. I LOVE it. Such good entertainment. Game 7... Draisaitl winning goal on the power play (he's gotta hit one eventually). Loved seeing Henrique (it's over) scoring again 😎

I think i was more nervous and anxious for tonight's game than Game 7. I want my boys on top more than anything, but the Panthers are a dangerous team.. they won't roll over and die. And honestly, I'm terrified that, instead of being demoralized, being underestimated actually helps them somehow.. The Oilers can win, but they have to play the perfect game against a team like this. Cause honestly the Panthers make me hella nervous even now! Tho this might just be my emotional trauma from the last time our boys made it to the finals...

Lets be honest here...Florida is in total panic mode and that includes bob. Now, that is not to say Florida cant pull this one out, but Edmonton has SO much momentum right now and I fully expect McDavid to be in beast mode on Monday.

@Oiler-ni7rq I agree. Anything can happen in one game. But it just seems like the Oilers' DIVINE DESTINY to pull this off now. I am expecting an absolute freakish display of other-worldly talent from McDavid. This is the most pumped I have been for a Non Devils hockey game since the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal game which featured Team USA getting their hearts broken by Sidney Crosby and Team Canada. LET'S GO OILERS!!!

Edmonton never really found their game…..the Panthers just lost theirs, temporarily. Nonetheless, it was an exciting series overall, despite the few blowouts performed by the Oilers. A fun game 7. Panthers for life.

@Surl9596 I can't disagree. Nuge came into the league the same year as Henrique and has been in Edmonton his entire career. There is no debate there. However, I am a Devils fan and do not personally care about any of the other players on the Oilers in the same way. (I am a huge McDavid fan though) Hope that makes sense...

Carrick has been okay when rotated in for a 4th liner. Perry has scored a couple big goals but hasn't impressed me overall. Henrique though, he's looked good no matter where they've slotted him in, and centering that third line with Brown and Janmark on his wings he's been fantastic. All three on that line have been so good these playoffs they've likely priced themselves out of Edmonton. I'd expect they'll all get $2 million plus and they've earned it, win or lose game 7.

@FailedBard Henrique has been an underrated player in the league for awhile IMO. I hope he wants to return to NJ. I can see him wanting to stick in Edmonton as well. Free Agency is going to be very interesting this summer.

@TravelinDevil76 It was super painful for me...but I can never rank it as more painful than the Avs. For starters LA was lost in a Game 6, in a series we always trailed. The Avs series we were up 3-2...and I was in attendance for Game 6 at Continental. We lose that and then go on to blow the Series in Game 7 on the road. The whole Bourque 16W thing rammed down our throats the entire Summer, etc etc. But I can understand you feeling that the Kings was more painful....

I cant predict shit... i dont do superstition at all, im a rational human being.. except when it comes to hockey. This sport makes me totally unhinged. Regardless of what happens, i KNOW we're gonna see some incredible hockey on Monday. What a game! I see the Oilers winning...this season has been a season full of choking. We choked massively in big games, and missed the playoffs...and we were supposed to be cup contenders. The Flyers were kicking ass halfway through the season, and choked, missing the playoffs. Now Florida is going to choke and be the first team in history to lose the Stanley Cup final after having a 3 game win advantage. I would love to see Henrique win a cup too. Maybe we get him in the offseason, or #BringBradytoNJ

Im laughing at every second the clock ticks down. Insufferable Florida Panther’s fans deserve this, lol Oilers win 4-3 in game 7. I’d love to see Henrique come back to NJ. He will always have a place in my Devils memories. Game 7 Double OT vs the Panthers in 2012. I’ve mentioned this before, but it was the first time I took my nephew to a Devils game when his family lived in Florida. It was the beginning of a new lifer Devils fan and it was awesome. I’ll never forget that goal. That and the Arnott goal. I was thinking about going to game 7, then I looked at the ticket prices. Cheapest is $1050. No thanks. 😜

@TravelinDevil76 I can't believe we are on the verge of this actually happening! I hope we can get Rico back to NJ. It would be one of my favorite "reunions" of All Time. Some notable ones that stick out immediately are Lemieux coming back in 2000 (another Cup with the Devils), Arnott in 2010, and Sykora in 2011. The last 2 were more sentimental than productive moves, as they did not do a ton in their second stints as Devils. But to have both of the departed A-LINE members back years later?!? Gotta love it. I couldn't fathom that 2012 G7 vs. Florida being someone's first hockey game! What a complete spoil! That is an amazing moment for you two. Florida may be the "cheapest" market for a Stanley Cup Finals Game 7! I think even in NJ it would be more like $1,600-$1,800. If it were in a "real" hockey market like Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Minnesota, etc it would likely be $2,600+ in today's Monopoly money. Then major cities like NY and LA would probably come in at a similar figure.

I think NJ is sending Clarke home to Minnesota because there is no room for a project goal score in Jersey beyond Holtz, and Clarke is the dreaded AHL 27 years of age where they become career AHL guys. They guy we got us a larger guy that may be able to find a place in our bottom 6.

I think Henrique will wanna stay there - who wouldn't. I don't mind having him back - he's got hockey IQ, experience, depth scoring... AND he shows up in the play-offs. Plus.... "Henrique, it's over!" 😎

The Oilers are the reason I started watching hockey at all. I was living in Edmonton in 2006, and my bandwagon-ing very quickly turned into full on obsession. I fell in love. Also got my heart broken for the first time, and ugly cried over a game. This series has been unbelievable... the hockey being played is fucking incredible... like this comeback... how is that even real?! Against a damn good team that play a damn good game (that save by Tkachuk in game 5, even tho McDavid scored anyway, was a brilliant play worthy of Hollywood). 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌

@alisasandul190 Hockey is amazing and this has been a remarkable series! Matthew Tkachuk is one of my favorite players in the league. That save was a thing of beauty! I hope to see the Oilers finish the job on Monday night
