Use the code TACOTA10 to get 10% off from Stinger Off-road (I do not receive compensation as I’m already sponsored)
Today we install the 3.5” PNW Series speakers from Audio Control/Stinger off-road. This was a very straightforward install that is super easy to do on your own. Your dash speakers are by FAR the most important set in your car because those are the primary ones used for vocals and high notes. You can find the ones I used here:

Tools needed:
-Speaker wire (18ga)
-18-22ga Female Disconnects
-18-22ga Wire Nuts (sometimes called wire twists)
- 1/4 socket drive
- 1/4 #2 Philips Head socket
- Allen wrench style Philipshead driver
- Wire Cutters and crimping tool.

Thanks! Glad to see this one. I have to wait a couple months for it to warm up around here anyway (driveway project), but I was happy to see I don’t have to pull the dash apart.

How does it sound. ?

As I expected it to, the highs are crisp/clear to the point I actually had to adjust my EQ to dial it down a bit on the high-end. I expected that would be the case. I think I am going to do one more video going over the EQ settings for everyone because its really ideal to make the adjustments to get the most out of the system.

Why do guys do videos on installing audio equipment and then do not play music to hear how the systems or speakers sound just wasted people’s time

@thetruthspeaker5101 because the sound is not even close when recording it to your ears it's so inaccurate it's unbelievable that is why. I installed this exact system it dosen't sound all the great definitely gonna need a dsp or stereo in the glove box

Does this also add some bass to the overall sound?

Definitely not with these.

Never use wire nuts on an automotive application. The vibration will loosen them and they will fail. You should have used beans or butt connectors. Silicone filled beans would have been my choice.
