Very informative video, good work If I can add anything to all you said, make them as light as possible, that added weight to a nice swarm can make your life miserable when transporting to the car/truck; I made a lot of these over the years, even sold a lot of them, and learned that the lighter they are, the better experience you have on catching swarms. I make mine much the same and they work great. I do mark the direction of the lids front and back because if they are a little out of square they may fit perfectly one way but not the other. Great video!

Very nice video. Informative for those who choose to make their own swarm traps as you and I do. I have been also getting ready for our season of swarms.

YOU SHOULD CUT ALUM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SHORT WAY THEN CUT THE LONG WAY ELIMINATING THE SHARP STRIP THAT FLAILS AROUND WHILE RELEASING NEEDED PIECE. BEND EDGES AWAY FROM CURVE OF THE ROLL. YOU ALSO LEAVE SHARP EDGES ON ALUM. OUCH, I USE RUBBER ROOFING
