Hi Dan, long-time subscriber and your channel has been a great help already. Can you make a video or provide some insight into US Options Trading as an Australian resident? There is little to no accessible literature it appears on this topic on the ATO website and even on their official discussion forum, their admins don't appear to know what i'm talking about either when asked specifically about this.

Thanks for your video Dan! Just wondering whether I can claim for tuition for my bachelor of nursing degree. I have graduated 3yrs ago and have been working as a nurse since. Can I still claim it, and if so, can I claim full amount of my tuition fee?

Did you incur the education costs while you were employed as a nurse? If not then no

Thanks for watching. It depends on what your role at Repco is. Do you do journalism there? It sounds like no so probably not deductible.

hi mate, i did leadership and management and i work in hospitality as a chef but also have to work in a managerial role. can my course be tax deductible and if it does i paid almost most of the tution fees on early 2021 and have only paid 1900$ between july 2022-jun 2023. How much can i claim ?
@MoneywithDan
@MoneywithDan Год назад
There may be a connection there. Only costs that were “billed” or “invoiced” between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023 would count in 2023 tax return
