Screw all the fast charging and wireless charging. My iphone 13 pro max battery is still so good I only charge on slow ALL apple charging devices. Never fails me. I personally got this topic figured out and longevity. Got my 13PM brand new three years ago. Im still at %94 overall battery health. My secondary cell iphone XS Max still works perfectly. I still easily get a full day out of it. Even it is still at 87% overall health. Its over 5 years old folks. Use all Apple cords and chargers and just use a mellow slower charge. Unless youre one of those people who is always staring at FB or tik tok which is a problem in itself these days. Slow charging and all Apple cords and cubes. Solved
Hi Daniel, why is 0-80% the sweet spot for battery lifespan practices? Because I’ve seen videos where it says don’t let your phone deplete to 0% and then charge it as that will degrade your battery over time. I usually don’t use my phone till it reaches 0%, aka dead (lol). I usually do between 15% - low power state, and then I charge up to 80%. Is that bad or good?
Bro the fact you are saying not charge past 80% it makes no difference bruh when i bought my IPhone 15 i was so conscious about maintaining that 100% health so I turned on 80%limit and never let it drop below 40. Well exactly after two months it dropped to 99 and after that in a week it dropped to 98 with total 38 cycles ONLY.
@DanielAboutTech ,, u said calibration to done in every month but after calibrating the battery my phone last shorter than before.and what if i dont calibrate the device..i put my device in the 80%charge limit option.so sometimes it gets 100 percent and i do let it be. And apple says occasionally the device wd charge to 100 to accurate measurement of battery. Does this enough??
Since I had upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro, I have used the 80% Charging Limit feature and it is certainly worth it. I use it and Optimized Battery Charging, together in my own situation. I use a powerbank to charge the phone to 80 if and when my phone needs charging during the day, before I go to bed. It stays around 80 and either tries to charge and can’t, or it drops a percentage or 2. Before I shuffle off to dreamland, I switch to the 20 W wall charger and another cable I had purchased for when I wish to charge the phone this way, or from a critical point to 80, or 100%. I make the switch quickly, so as to not interrupt the charging cycle too much. Anyway, after I make the switch from a powerbank to electrical mains, I go into Settings, Battery, Battery Health and charging. I then switch the charging option to Optimized Battery Charging and it does one of two things. It either goes right to 100%, or it goes part of the way there and it commences optimized battery charging. In other words, with the second option it does what you would expect it to do at 80% with finishing the charge at a certain time, estimated by the device. It has gone to either 82, 83, or as high as 87% and the result is the same. The phone will eventually get to 100% like normal, but it takes its sweet time to get there, while taking an hours long rest break before reaching the mountaintop. Also, the important thing is that it does not overheat the device and it does give a notification as to when the phone will be estimated to be fully charged as normal with optimized battery charging. That's only my own way of charging the phone and obviously, Daniel has his and our situations are different so, as much as I agree with what he is saying, it may not always apply to me as I am a heavy user and it is my only device. So far, I've been lucky And I've figured out whatever the secret is (I hope).
I have an Iphone 15 Pro Max and i charged with a original samsung charger with 25w , because when i buy the iphone I don’t have an original iphone charger. It’s ok or not? I buy iphone in december 2023 and now my baterry life it’s 99% 🙄
@@adammayanja9958 thank you for the answer. I thought that it wouldn't break, being a fairly small difference from 20w to 25w. I will definitely have to buy an original apple charger because we ended up paying €1400 for a phone and getting it without a charger 😂😂😂
I recently switched to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but I'm not enjoying the experience. Many apps that were free on the Play Store are now paid on the App Store. Typing frustrations include having to click the number key to access the full stop, and the return button at the top is hard to reach. Transferring large WhatsApp data is a challenge, and I can't find a way to limit charging to 80%. It feels like common features from Android are missing on older iPhones.
