Today I opened a hanger box with my nearly 1-year-old son for Father's Day. I gave him some commons to crawl around with, and he started chewing Lucas Sims. About a minute later, Sims gives up a 3-run Homer to Willy Adames so my Brewers could win on my 1st Father's Day. A special moment for this proud Papa.

Always thankful for your breakdown videos. You're so much more informative than a lot of other channels are especially for a guy like me who just likes to collect and doesn't care so much about selling anything. Keep up the great work.

As I’m watching this just pulled Chrome Yamamoto, Chrome Carter, Chrome Rafaela, Aqua Sale numbered, Purple numbered and that’s 2 boxes in! Hangers really are bangers 😅

I got my dad 2 hangers for Father’s Day and he pulled a Jackson Chourio short print out of one.

You can get the sp’s outta hangers. I’ve pulled a borderless Riley green. Sold for 80 raw. Got a homefield advantage Pete Crowe Armstrong and a single logo border sp/parallel. It’s been insane

3 hangers, pulled a 34/50 spencer steer yellow crackle foil, and a 134/199 kirby puckett all star relic

Thank you for sharing. Due to cost and finances, I'm going to have to hold out for Chrome and Update. Chrome should have MVP buybacks and the Update checklist should be loaded. If buying Series 2, I'd avoid blasters as you demonstrated. In the past, hangers have been bangers. Hangers or fat packs seem the best way to go.

Jabs definitely pulled an SP out of retail. You two are my go-to channels and I'm just glad you both got a card in Big League. I've only pulled yours though.

My first hanger of series 1 I got from BiMart and got a yellow Evan Carter. Waiting for that one to come back from PSA.

Any parallels that are exclusive to one format are essentially base cards when compared to the set as a whole from all formats.

I bought 4 hanger boxes from Target and hit a Cleveland Guardian Gold Mirror Variation. I have pulled my best cards from hangers this year.

Not sure if you're going to see this, but I went into my local B&N and i was looking for some hanger boxes. I didn't see any so I opted for one blaster, as I was checking out I spotted the hangers in a new location hanging up. I obviously couldn't return the blaster so I went home and ripped it. I pulled a 1989 Daniel Palencia auto. I pulled a purple speckle parallel, a rainbow, a blue, a hotdog, and 3 of the regular dotted holiday parallels. I also got one of the celebrity inserts, a HR challenge, and some other good name rookie inserts. Then again, I probably got super lucky and the sample size was only one box. I got the box for $24.95 with tax. I will probably stay away from blasters though, I just got really lucky.

I opened 2 blasters got a trevor story independence day and 2 statue of libertys, opened 1 hobby got a jackson merrill sp, ezequiel duran camo, mike trout 89 as relic and a miguel rojas platinum 1/1, diggin the hobby boxes, great video! Happy Fathers Day!

So I've heard some people calling the base holiday inserts "crop circles", and I feel that's about as good a description as is possible. Plus it adds an alien type vibe to the set which is always a plus for me. I did pull a Golden Mirror Pete Crow-Armstrong out of a blaster, but I don't expect that to be easy by any means.

I like when you do these comparison videos. It's nice to get 4-5 parallels a box but Topps seems to avoid putting good parallels in these boxes like you said. Getting 32 parallels is nice but only 2 were good lol.

You can pull 🔥 from Hangers, I ripped 20 and pulled 2 autos, one was a Dual Auto /10, a Golden Mirror, and multiple #'d parallels including a Ohtani /75.

Opened one single blaster from my wife from Amazon and hit a ho lee vintage stock. Most likely the best you can expect to do unless you slap a whole case and then there's no guarantees

Pulled a Austin Riley Team Color Match SP, Imanaga summer Beach Umbrella parallel, and a Red /10 Mike Schmidt on card auto out of 4 Blasters. My Blasters were on fire!

Hangers are bangers! I opened 1 blaster and got absolutely wrecked. I opened 3 hangers and I got a Ronald Acuña game-used base relic card, a Jonah Heim auto /50, and a Junior Caminero yellow rookie card

Pulled a blue Shota, and first pitch Victor wembanyama from a blaster

I bought 6 hangers and I’ve done pretty good so far. Pulled a #697 SP of Jackson Holiday a Black Border Ella da la Cruz 89 theme insert and. Yellow crack ice of Shota Imanaga

It makes much more sense to buy 2 hangers for $25.98 than 1 blaster for $24.99

I grabbed one blaster in the mall, and pulled a beach umbrella Nationals card, along with a blue foil Miguel Vargas. Going to grab hangers from now on, but glad my blaster hit. (Barnes and Noble never fails)

Appreciate you doing this but wish I would have watched before buying blasters. Blasters in series 1 and 2 have been killing me. Going forward I feel like blasters are pretty rough

Pulled 2 SPs out of a retail display box. They were not turned backwards. You either have to know the variation image or check the code on the back. At least the codes are a little easier to read this year.

Just too many parallels that not many people care about at this point. On top of that, it's hard to trust "Short print" because you see hundreds of the rookie SPs already on eBay. Hangers for sure feel like the "best" retail format, but even those are kind of rough.

We did pull a Jackson Holliday SP out of a target hanger. The one where he is batting.

Blasters are bad at $30, they’re $35 at my local Walmart. Only other place to get blasters is 45 miles away from me. Def grabbing hangers. Did that for series 1 too.

Keep an eye out for the short prints. They are normally in the stack of cards just before the inserts.

Definitely a lot of parallels in hanger boxes! Blasters just seem meh to me in comparison. Hangers are definitely bangers I bought 3 from my local walmart and the 1st one had a Yamamoto rookie HFA in it along with an Imanaga yellow rookie!

I've seen quite a few of the SP rookies come out of the hangers the last few days. More than I would have thought, so makes me hopeful for pulling at least one. I like the idea of getting a holiday parallel of Yamamoto or Imanaga or Masyn Winn, and have seen several Imanaga's pulled, but those blasters did not impress at all. Hangers look better than S1. The Megas seem to have doubled the foilboards from an average of 4 to 8, based on what I've seen ripped. I had a few Megas in S1 that yielded 5 foilboards, and I believe they are the only spot to also get 1989 colored foilboards. The addition of the Aqua foilboard is another 139,650 parallels (in the base set) out there in a shorter print run, so those hangers are doing even better with those added in. Would be curious if there are parallels of the SP rookies, apart from the Fun Face variations. Also, is there some guide to how many of those Fun Face variations there are? Pricing seems to vary wildly, and how short are the short prints on the other 3? I've seen a lot more pulled that I would have thought. Curious what Wembys are going for given the absolute insane prices on his basketball cards.
