This might be the best time to get a 4Runner some great discounts pretty cool colors the last of the naturally aspirated v6s #offroad4x4 #toyotatacoma #foxshocks #trdprotacoma #toyotatacoma #toyota4runner #Lilkennytv
They are going to stay there too, with the ridiculous $1300 green package and the absurd $1400 dealer fee. I wouldn't be caught dead buying a vehicle from that dealer. They give you 5k off but charge you nearly 4k in dealer and green package fees. Ridiculous.
@ryanm4013 actually, when introduced their msrp was reasonable and you could spec a top line gladiator around 50k. Broncos were a little higher fully spec'd. Now you can't enter that territory unless you buy used or last year's leftover unsold models that weren't sold because manufacturers raised msrp and dealers got really greedy. No one can really afford anything these days because no one has cash stacks anymore unless they were financially well off to begin with or made good investments during covid.
Probably ??....Bro don't insult the 4runner.They are BULLET PROOF vehicles in terms reliability and longevity. These are the kind of vehicle that rarely show up at the repair shop compared to any other brand of vehicle out there.Just ask any mechanic.People climb mountains and cross rivers with 4runners.They the absolute off-road monster. And it's been that way since day 1
Man 4Runner heaven !!!...I need one of those babies.Does anyone know if you can claim the amount of taxes u would pay on a vehicle(new or used)when u go to file your taxes ?
6k down brings that down to 50k. No way, its still over priced. Stop saying its a great buy. No one buy unless its absolutely necessary. I bought mine before the pandemic for 31k, brand new !!!
Exactly. People’s brain react to discount numbers rather than what they should sell for. They forget what they were selling for before dealerships greediness took over.
20yrs ago you can buy a decent basic 4runner brand new for a good price. Now it's almost as expensive as your house. It's going to sit plenty more years in the lot.
Congrats Kenny on reaching 5k subscribers! ! I’ve been subscribed since when you were under 1k… glad to see other people enjoying your honest dedication for what you do 🍾🥂
Thanks 🙏 a lot my friend I truly appreciate the support my friend it definitely would not be possible if it wasn’t for people like yourself self so thanks again my friend have a great weekend and thanks for the reply and checking out the channel!
I think the 4.0 is a VERY reliable motor but the 3.5L is a little bit newer technology I don't think you can go wrong with either one but the 3.5L in the Tacoma is a little faster than the 4Runner... But both on that 🐢💨 status haha but OTT tune wakes them both up... The 3.5 Gaines 18 horsepower but 4.0 only gains 10hp people just don't realize how much that OTT tune helps. I always enjoyed my Tacoma but it was a chore to drive prior to the tune. Now it rips
Yeah they have some really nice ones with some good discounts definitely need the pro 4Runner wheels ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great weekend!
@@toasterstruddle3807 xcountry driver. More than adequate for those of us into moderate off-roading. Has enough to get us out of virtually any troubles
Yeah I hear you. Luna rock is definitely one of my favorite colors. Nautical blue is nice. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend Have a great weekend.
I want a 4Runner badly but I cannot justify the price of a new one and the used are no bargain either especially with the higher interest rates. Most likely if you wait till the end of this year, the discounts should be pretty aggressive on these with the 25 model being a redesign
Exactly I totally agree with you my friend! You have to definitely be able to justify a big purchase like that and it’s pretty hard to these days ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel have a great weekend!
100% made in Japan. Extremely reliable. If you look at the prices of the SUVs that compete with it… price is justifiable in my opinion. I understand it’s expensive but why would toyota sell their high quality products when Ford and dodge sell their crappy vehicles for such a high price?
Also you need to figure in the cost of gas sinice theses get terrible mpg. Also cost of things like oil changes are more expensive as well as higher insurance rates. Unless you recall drive 4wd roads I would avoid.
That Barcelona red looks great on the 4Runner! I hear you the 4Runner is definitely my dream truck one day one day. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
I think Toyota may offer a $2500 rebait in our area soon. The Dealers here (Columbus Ohio) are selling 4Runners at invoice or around $3,500 off MSRP. The only ones selling are the Solar Octane version and they are sitting on the lot for a week or two. $46,000 for KDSS and 360 camera is a really good price; if only they didn't add the $1,295 crap in the addendum.
Thanks for the feedback I truly appreciate it. Yes this is a great dealership. The only thing that sucks is the 1295. thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
Not happening in Michigan yet. MSRP has been raised a couple thousand recently on 2024’s. Dealers claiming 4Runners tough to get. Get in line if you want one?
Wow, that’s crazy. We definitely got a ton of them out here. I hate it when dealerships get to doing that. Thanks for the reply and checking out that channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
That’s what I was thinking it made the other one with the off-road wheels look different. It’s those matte black wheels. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
I drive a 2001 Nissan Xterra 2wd rear wheel drive V6 automatic with 187,000 miles that cost me $4100. It too only gets 17 mpg and I an kind of happy with it. It's the "poor man's Xterra " and I paid cash. It gets the job done. I would love a 4Runner I think, but who has that kind of money? I am that poor man and I guess the rich do live better than me. It must be nice to afford a new 4Runner. Lucky Chucks!
17 mpg. 51K. wonderful in this day and age. Might as well buy a full size anything used. Reliability at the expense of efficiency is Toyotas mantra by selling a 15year old design today, Try the Lexus Gx goes back to the last century when gas was a dollar fifty per gallon. Yes, they still run, but the leather cracks and the paint fades, radiators get replaced and look at the accumulated fuel usage over 300K miles Do not expect the same from the new products, such as the driver assist, or the turbo engines.
Not sure on the price of the the red one but it definitely looks awesome! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
I live in Cleveland TN. Three dealers.. Cleveland, Chattanooga, Knoxville. Zero 4Runners on the lot, sale pending on many in transit or in build phase. Do tell me how you get a decent discount on that? I bought the only 4Runner that came off the truck that day. It was a “Limited” trim, $55k msrp. I got $1300 off msrp and that was it. Add tax, tag and that $800 dealer fee. The 2024 with 4.0 liter, naturally aspirated 6 cylinder is near the end of production as the 2025 starts hitting the lots in about 8 weeks. Good luck waiting. You will have to get a 2.4 liter, turbo 4 if you wait much longer to buy a 4Runner.
Wow 😯 that a pretty good amount! Thanks for the update my friend I wonder if they had any good colors ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
That’s good the customers are putting their foot down. Dealers are getting away with over marking the vehicles. Hopefully that’s the case because the customers set the market.
Here in Japan, I bought a 4 runner back 1998 for $28,000. with the yen rate converted. Who wants to pay that crazy price only to be carjacked-lol! They don't even sell them here anymore, which is whacked. :(
Wow 🤩 that’s crazy they don’t sell them in Japan ! Thanks for the feedback my friend I truly appreciate it! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel! Have a great weekend! A trip to Japan definitely on my bucket list !!
Prices will not come down. People screwed up the market because they continued to pay those insane mark ups. Now, the smart people say, "No more and screwed that shit."
There they are the number one dealership in like three or four states so they get the most vehicles. That’s what I’ve been told at least thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
Not selling!!!! they had a 2022 4 runner with 30,000 miles on it... they were like! we can get you in it for 38,000!!! I laugh so fucking hard, at the guy.....😂😂😂
Lol 😂 funniest thing I’ve heard all day lol I’m just reporting lol Yeah, the new engine is going to be interesting lol 😂 I definitely want to check it out in the Tacoma, and I also want to check out their IMAX version of the turbo charge four-cylinder
4Runner sales have started out 2024 very strong. Not sure any other SUV can compete with this vehicle actually but the Ford Explorer will attempt to do so. No one in any rush to buy at retail of course. US exports of vehicles and automotive parts continues to plunge as well.
Yeah it’s a great truck but the price is just crazy. I think people are trying to hold onto their money right now, but like you said for the right price, they will spend it. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, my friend. I truly appreciate it. Hopefully I will continue to get better at this. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great weekend.
I moved to looking for used models. Very little has changed for over ten years other than the TSS. No way I can justify 50k when a used one is low 30’s high 20’s for the same truck
You better cross shop Jeep gladiator and wrangler. I just yesterday got a sport S gladiator with limited slip and hard top, car play and camera for 12,000 off. Stelantis and dealer incentives. 37k before taxes and license.
Crazy how much these have increased. I leased a TRD off road 0 down for 385 a month in early 2019. To me they are far too dated at this point be flirting with low 50k MSRP, I don’t give a shit how reliable they are.
Nope nothing I’d for free unfortunately unless you ask lol but everything add on if the truck is new you have to pay for it ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
I watch these vids and have to laugh a bit when I read all the comments “if the MSRP was less I would buy, if they knock off $6000 I’d buy. New cars never get cheaper they only get more expensive. If you couldn’t afford it in 2023 then you can’t afford it in 2024. Stop looking at new cars and stop saying the car is not worth it. Not everyone has a problem paying for a vehicle they really want. I think you can easily get $3000 off sticker without any heavy lifting plus the $750 “Keep it Wild” discount that’s on the sticker. My point is that you can not muddle the value of a new vehicle in 2024 with cars that were purchased even three years ago when you have comments like “I bought the same truck in 2020 for $40K”. Well it’s not 2020, everything in your everyday life is now expensive, much more expensive than three years ago. If you want a 4Runner, buckle in and buy one and forget about how much you paid for it and then enjoy it for the next 10 years worry free. And if you can’t pull the trigger, then a 4Runner is not in the cards for you. Pretty simple actually
i just traded a 21 f150 lariat i paid 60g for it brand new for a 23 f150 xlt powerboost which ws 75 g with 10g off sticker price thats why nothings selling because trucks are way to much money now
Exactly. Everything is expensive right now. Sounds like you got a nice truck though. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel have a great weekend my friend.
Whe.n they gotcha by the short ones....these dealers go up in you..I know because in Ohio you ant get a new 2024 taco or 4runner....I found 1a sr5 premium for 48k..and they wouldn't budge on the price.. Location means a lot
Most definitely we have multiple dealerships out here so they all have to compete to get the business lol if you’re in a one dealership state or city, it will be hard to get these vehicles because they are very popular and dealerships know that thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a good evening.
Exactly prices have gone up. It’s kind of hard to figure out the whole pricing thing these days. Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great weekend.
Picking up a 2024 4RUNNER TRD off road premium in black. Off road package, sunroof, heated seat etc.. 54k out the door, CA tax and license included. Longo Toyota El Monte, CA.
Nice 👍 congratulations 🍾 my friend Black is one of my top colors for the 4Runner they look sweet ! A black that I seen on a doge car lot is what started my love for Toyotas ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
Toyota should have made them all TRD Pros because at least where i live, those are still sold before they get to the dealership. More profit margin too.
Toyota fan and loyal owner here but these prices are ridiculous!! Those are $700-&1k month payments and nobody has really gotten a 15 to 20% wage increase to adjust for these prices.
Look at the price mindfukkery. This is why I have always bought cars 1-2 years old. Almost perfect, still has the new car smell. 25-40% off the sticker. No way will I ever go onto a lot again, except for servicing.
This is Toyota of Gladstone I don’t work there but you can tell them Kenny sent you ! Thanks for the reply my friend and checking out the channel! You can go to my info and message me on instagram!
Nice video because it was frustrating to watch. You showed the MSRP but then did not show the sticker in the front window from the dealer for comparison. 4runners always sold for around MSRP pre-Covid and like everything else sold for more post Covid. Dealers were making their own prices so its hard to tell from your video any real deals. All of those front stickers are what MSRP should be. I would say prices are back to normal which means MSRP or slightly higher.
Sorry about that my friend the price that they had on the windshield is cheaper than the sticker from the factory so in the big windshield they advertise their discounts so if I was to look at the sticker on the actual side window, it would be the MSRP price so they are selling these below MSRP Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Sorry for the confusion. I hope this helped . Have a great weekend.
