I feel like Toyota has caught up with Honda with interior niceness. If you compare a 2013 Toyota Corolla interior with a 2013 Honda Civic interior the civic is way nicer (in my opinion). I think this is a great car. My only real "problem" with the brand is that used Toyotas are going for more than ever before. It almost feels like a luxury to afford a Toyota for the working class unless you go super old now, where as before you could get a 10 year old camry for like $5000.
I just purchased a 2025 Camry on July 2nd. It listed for $39,009 + $1495.00 dealer addendum. I negotiated all the crap off and got mine for $37,210 and got window tint and all weather floor mats and a cargo organizer thrown in. I’m happy but my headliner is ripping apart under the panoramic sunroof so I’m going to my dealer service dept tomorrow.
If the Toyotas of the old days had black interior, it would have helped make it look better. They grey plastic made everything look so cheap. When the Mazda3 was introduced in 2004, it was black so it felt more upscale.
The ground Clearance between the cross and the RAV4 is very similar. However, he said, sitting in a cross is like sitting in a sedan as opposed to sitting higher up in a SUV.
Ground clearance apparently does not translate too well when it comes to step in height or seating height. Sadly car companies don't measure that either they only give us ground clearance
I've watched quite a few reviews, but no one has mentioned that the infotainment screen sticks up a bit too much. I'm not tall so I wonder if it will interfere with (my) visibility.
The “just get a RAV-4 for a little bit more” advice is a bit of a stretch. The only way to get the RAV-4 close the price of the CCH, you’d be getting the stripped down model compared to the high end model of the other. The better equipped RAV-4 is going to be closer to $40K.
Yea but RAVs also come with better discounts which help and naturally comes better equipped especially when looking at the lower trims an XLE Premium RAV is more than enough for most families but buy whatever makes you happy.
Yea lots of choices not really going wrong with any of them which is a great thing would still try to go up one size but glad to see eco cars have come a long way
What’s big deal about standard awd. I don’t need it. Better to cut of some price. Cheap Toyota with premium price tag. $3K more and you will have rav4. Some guys here on RU-vid tested for week both of them and rav4 hybrid come out with better mpg in real life
