Here's something that's hardly ever mentioned, the reclining back seats. My 2024 has them and although it's not much of a recline, it does give a few more inches of room.
This memo for long term owners only! Traded my 2022 CRV exl awd in for 2024 Rav 4 xle awd. The reason is mainly for the Atkinson cycle which has Direct AND PORT injection. No worries with carbon buildup ever and NO TURBO! Use our 05 accord for around town and Rav now for our 170 mile trips back and forth. If you get rid of a vehicle after 5 years 60 k then buy anything u want. No worries unless u don't mind taking ur UAW brand back to dealer constantly!
i just bought one yesterday trade in Subaru Outback with a dronie CVT and I love Toyota no more SVT bullshit , what a difference and the 203 hp power I can definitely feel the difference coming from Subaru Outback. . Toyota is the best and the seats are so comfortable . Very nice SUV so big for its class . Thank you Toyota
@@agak61 I just test drove and sat in one w the cloth seats and another w the SoftTex seats. Definitely noticed a difference in that the SoftTex seats were more comfortable.
@@juliett22 I know ;( but the leather is even better. But is it worth 6k more ? The SoftTex felt a little synthetic to touch but I guess still better than cloth. I don’t know anymore. I also feel like I’m too old for the Sport model with the big wheels and that’s the one that has SoftTex. I’m in my early 40s
I just purchased one. Unfortunately, despite being the premium, it does not look like mine came with all-wheel-drive. So therefore, I do not have the of road capability. But otherwise I’m very happy with this vehicle.
I am a owner of RAV-4 XLE 2022 and I am loving it. Before I was Honda and when Honda went on the CR-V came with the 1.5 LT. turbo engine I was not for it at all. I have been a truck driver before a turbo engine is for big trucks and you do not save on gas mileage at all. The furbo engine gives you power but not gas mileage saving at all. A 2.5 Lt. atmosphere engine will give you more gas mileage anytime.
Recently bought the XLE Premium (2024). I noticed that the when backing up, I don't get an audio alarm/alert/sound when I'm getting close to an object. Is that normal? I do get an sound alarm, as well as visual >>> when I'm backing up and a car may be coming from either direction. I don't get a sound alarm when I may be actually backing into something. This concerned me when I was backing up and another car was backing up in a parking lot at the same time. I didn't see this until I actually looked at my camera, and we were pretty close.
You’re not getting that because it doesn’t have parking sensor but it has cross traffic alert which I believe uses blind spot detector to give you alert for the oncoming cars
Great Review. Technically that's a wrong statement that Toyota uses CVT in hybrid models. It's actually e-CVT which is totally different. Nothing to do with the actual CVT we know of.
Is it true Rav4 2024 xle premuim, hybird (not hybrid hybrid) only comes with the black rims? I want chrome color rims. My salesman said stock wheels, black only. Why do I see, chrome color wheels in all these videos. Is he lying?
The hybrids come with black wheels to differentiate from the gas only model. If you like chrome colored wheels, you could go aftermarket, which you could get from like pep boys or an online retailer.
Of course he’s lying through his teeth , just say you saw another one with chrome wheels at another dealership and I bet he’ll say something like let me look in my system, give me him 20 seconds to look if not just say see ya😊
@@jesseevangelista2422 Actually it's true that the hybrids only come with the darker rims, so the can tell them from the gas on the lot. But yeah I've walked away from annoying sales guy. I'm a senior lady but Ive done my research, know what I want and I feel like they're effing with me. LOL... My nephew is coming home from school and going to help me.
Sorry to hurt your feelings, but this is an XLE Premium. If the XLE badge on the back of this RAV doesn’t convince you, the Limited has ventilated seats which we don’t have on this model because it’s an XLE Premium.
When they switch to CVT and hybrid-- they LOSE my interest.. JUNK most of it. The battery will die soon if we have sub zero days -- it kills them- and that's an $8000 repair- IF they still have one available to replace it with- MOST companies won't be stocking batteries. The CVT is crap too... even in toyota.. NO THANKS-- I'll buy a 2012 (V-6 with automatic trans) and have a lot more fun with NO repairs- other than small usual stuff like brake pads, oil changes, etc.. AND can customize it much easier.. and the MPG are good!! The little V-6 will run forever if the oil is changed regularly- and the main high pressure line has been changed. (to metal instead of rubber)..
@@Kevin_FlynnYES and most unfortunate. There is already a shortage of GOOD mechanics- and especially those trained to work on these- and the schools are reporting severe drop in enrollees for new classes.
The eCVT in Rav4 hybrid has nothing to do with the CVTs that everyone hates - it is a completely different design. Also, the battery is warranted for 150k miles/10 years, and is estimated to cost only $4k to replace with OEM at the dealer (aftermarket = cheaper). In short, you literally have no idea what you’re talking about.
If the XLE badge that was clearly displayed throughout the video didn't convince you it's not a Limited, for 2024 the 10.5 inch touchscreen with the 11 speaker JBL sound system is a $2485 option. Also the Limited comes standard with ventilated seats which the XLE is not equipped with.
I've been looking for the screen of RAV4 XLE PRIMIUM that I've looked for so far has a rectangular edge. Why does it have a slightly rounded screen? Is it an additional option?
@@daeyonglee1222 depending on where you’re from that bigger more rounded fancier screen is only on the limited in canada. In the USA apparently those features are available on the XLE
