Enjoy the video! 😁Once you are done, check out our written review of the 2023 Toyota Supra GTS 6-speed manual: www.carsauce.com/car-review/2023-toyota-supra-gts-manual-review
Why would people think a bmw dressed as a toyota is an insult? Thats a bloody compliment. Like imagine people ask you what car do you drive. You just casually say its a toyota. But when they see it damn its actually a bimmer which looks bloody good and performs even better
You boys are my favourite! So entertaining and fun to watch! But FAAARRR OUT MATT I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU FOR DOING THOSE SPEEDS ON THAT ROAD ! Now I know why Jacob holds on for dear life!!! I got ya Jacob bro!
It looks amazing with a Toyota 86 Aero Spoiler 😉 Looking forward to what they will do with the facelift, fake vents make no sense when the GR86 has real ones...
I gotta fact check you here a little. The wheels were actually first put on the car for 2023 models, lots have changed in the 4 years of it being on sale. It started as a 2 port engine now it’s a 6port. Pre june 2020 you could tune it with a bench unlock now only femto can do it. They changed suspension, they rebalanced literally every year has had minor improvements. 2021 at the beginning of the transition had an oil consumption issue, regular bmw problems. Red interior has been discontinued after 2023. I am going stop there, but definitely a lot of changes happened over the years. Even the horsepower numbers have changed drastically from initial launch.
@@anydaynow01 You'd understand if you track it. It's one of the most cost-effective new car platforms to build on, being a rebadged BMW also gives you the benefit of access to both Japanese and Euro aftermarket parts. Don't get me wrong, F82 is a great car also. But being on a coupe platform vs a sports car platform means the potential ceiling of the car is slightly lower, and you'll be spending more to get the same handling/balance. Highly recommend you check out Jackie Ding's channel and his build if you are interested.
Was it really 12 months or just under, I am thinking about putting a deposit down on one and if we do it now ish I wouldn't mind getting the 2025 model year one.
@@adsmel5881 just ordered mine 1 month ago. Apparently the wait has been 12 months but Toyota now saying production times are rapidly becoming quicker. But who knows! Will be worth the wait.
I can realistically get this in the upcoming year and compared to others in the price range it looks fantastic. Currently have a 24 Corolla which is a fun little car to drive.
Still love this car but I had hoped that Toyota would redesign the rear view mirrors to help cut down on the wind buffeting issue. And have an external lock and button to open the rear hatch. Otherwise a fantastic sports car. 😎
Official is 4.4, it’s been clocked at 4.1 - 4.6, so I still think 4.9 isn’t that quick, even with 2 up. My stock 1M has done ~ 4.4 with 2 up albeit the 1M is ~ 90kg lighter but has a little less power & torque.
People are only salty about Toyota partnering with BMW on this one because its named after the Supra. If they called it the FT-1 like the concept car, JDM fanboys wouldnt care about it's German roots
Picking up mine in March :) in Dawn Blue MT with the Lightweight spec :) It is already at the Dealer, but there is so much salt everywhere :( so i will wait another 2-3long months :(
I own a GR86, disclosure of bias' up front, and as per your review of that, and in your own words, unless you have a real affinity for the Toyota brand, just buy a S̶u̶b̶a̶r̶u̶ BMW at that point ;)
hah so funny 😐 haven’t heard that one before. Yes we all know get over it you wanna front the development bill for Toyota to do a ground up design? Didn’t think so it’s a good car.
