Today I review the MK5 Toyota Supra in 2024. I go through all of the facts, features, sounds, opinions and more. The Supra in my opinion is the greatest sports car to buy for under $60,000. It combines a lightweight screaming engine with a unique one of a kind design. You can daily drive it and track it without the worry for common reliability issues found in other sports cars. In a world where most cars are extremely expensive, the Supra gives you a taste of supercar for a value price tag- Something uncommon today.

I love my Supra. Every time I walk in my garage, it puts a huge smile on my face just seeing it. Driving it is a joy.

You can tell, while driving this car, that probably 75% of the development budget went in to the driving experience. Its a beast. Its as close to supercar you can get without paying 100k, and I'm convinced that unmodified well-kept examples will be priceless in the future

Why does the screen keep flashing is that normal?? Can you turn the flashing off?

In person it’s not flashing but on video the camera makes it look like it’s flashing

What year is this one? That front end and headlamps have tons of pits and chips already. Is the paint really that soft? My 2023 I already see pints and lint inside the headlamps smh 😢

I hate you so much because you are allowed to make the windows black at the side and front, so jealous😂 nice review, i drive my yellow supra since years , its my daily car summer and winter, and i love it . But as a one who drive it daily i want to share what i dont like, Suspension, its not good , the car fight a lot, with kw3 its much better, but i still have crazy bumpsteer at high speed, greetings from german Autobahn . Not often but also the strange abs behavior sometimes. And the feel of the steering is not at the level of a gt86 wich i drove daily before the supra. But i love my supra, sometimes i turn my head around like a small boy... to watch my car when i walk away🙈🤣

how does it handle in the winter here in Germany? I come from a country where you never even need winter tires and now live here in Germany and I am going to be buying the 2024 as soon as it comes out? can I daily it? how does it handle in icy roads? what winter tires do you have on them or recommend?

@@buk0wski697depends on area and winter . This year was bad because of weather condition, snow meldted, and freezing again. A lot of ice, in the middle of the road, and i am very low with kw v3. It was very painfull sometimes. In Winter the car is much worse than a gt86, or mx5. But it depends on the Winter and road conditions. Mx5 , and gt86 is not so heavy, in the Winter. You have to drive carefull, but its easy if you can handle that a lot cars behind want you to drive faster. Even small funny cars are annoyed behind you🤣. When you can handle that you are slow in the Winter and at bad conditions, than daily is not a problem

If you go to small dealers they won't charge a mark up and you can get a 3 Liter for under 60k

Says the 400z isn't a competitor Proceeds to name a mid engine car that has no standard (manual) option. This is probably the worst supra review I've seen, and I've seen a lot

If your goal is to "blend in with the crowd", then the 240 or the M2 are the ones to get. When I spend $60k+ for a sportscar, it'd better stand out. The GR Supra fits that bill.

Actually, of 35 auto manufacturers selling vehicles in the US, Consumer Reports magazine, in their 2024 annual auto issue, ranked BMW as #1 for its combination of attributes: Performance/Handling Seating Infotainment Ride Quietness Reliability Quality

@SuperJimmyBennett No, you're missing the point. Toyota has no modern inline 6 cylinder engine, so your choice would be the legendary B58 or nothing. You are the one who is missing out on the experience of a lifetime. Enjoy your GR Corolla.
