People said my Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) was "overpriced" when I got it new (April 2021). But it was "only" $50,263 (as optioned). I know prices of trucks/cars have gone up the last 3 years, but yeah, $56K for this Toyota SR5 is a tad outrageous. So is the TRD Sport @ $50K. But then I'd rather have my Gladiator than any Toyota truck regardless of pricing. -- BR

I don’t get it. That’s way too much! I just paid $45,000 for a TRD off road. After adding wheels, tires, lift kit, nerf bars and an incredible sound system I’m in for a little over $50k. I wish that I could add photos because it’s incredible! I’m in Eugene.

I think all trucks are over priced. yes they are "cool", powerful, and have all the luxury amenities found in high end cars.....but this vertical leap in prices....a blue collar man or woman cannot sustain a family when his / her truck costs a thousand dollars per month just on the payment. I would often argue with a good friend of mine back in the 80's about pro athletes making a million or more dollars per year His answer "Brian, it's what the market will bear"........I guess we will see what the market will bear with truck prices.....

With the way current vehicles are priced it’s time to be one of those people that keep a vehicle 10 plus years. Unfortunately I’ve never been one of those people so I’ve spent (and lost) more money then I care to count…. I'd pay the extra $420 for the Supersonic Red color but most everything else...no way. All the ones I've seen on the lots have Cold Weather packages- $3,750, Spray in Bedliner ( sprayed in over a composite bed already??), $575 and whatever else they can gouge out of you. I Loved Toyotas ( have a 22 SR5) but they are pricing their main customer base out of buying a new vehicle.

At the end of 2021 I had to buy a vehicle; I had sold my previous vehicle before a deoloyment. I paid more than I thought I should for a TRD off-road with almost all the options. It was less out the door than the 2024 SR5s are running MSRP. Until this year dealerships didn't have time to add all this stuff to the trucks because they sold too quickly.

Your giving out mixed messages....in earlier videos you showed examples of dealers offering $4000 off MSRP on 2024 Tacomas which puts the selling price of a 2024 Tacoma very close to the MSRP price of a 2023 Tacoma. Now you say: "2024 Toyota Tacoma pricing is crime against humanity".
I hear you, but this dealership just doesn’t advertise what kind of discounts you may be able to get so I just have to show the MSRP but this is a great dealership and when it comes to the dealership builds, they will cost you.
