Tacomas are such great trucks. But oh my goodness. Give me the smaller video screen. I would think that big thing would be a bit distracting and it practically blocks the ignition button. Still, the Tacoma would be my choice for a mid-size truck. 👍
I have the 14 inch in mine. It's awesome. Does not interfere with viewing . You get used to it pretty quick. I now can't see myself with the 8 inch screen. I have the premium package so have cameras everywhere. Nice to see my surroundings on a big screen.
Tundra turbo waste gate issue comes to mind as far as Toyota turbo issues. I think it’s a non issue now on the 24’s. Nice review, thank you for also sharing your own thoughts on the midsize market. Great take on it. I’ve got a 17’ Colorado LT pavement queen and I’d personally go full size next truck for what you get for the money vs midsize now days.
Yeah I had only seen the bearing issue. I don’t think the wastegate issue was widespread. Hopefully these trucks will be solid. Think the hybrid powertrain seems to be the best so far. Crazy market for sure for all trucks!
@@driftx2 yes at one time it was unfortunately I don’t believe that any more Price way to high and the quality is not like it used to be they use cheaper materials and components but good luck
Help wanted* I’m torn between three trucks 2023 Toyota trd off road 32k miles for 37k 2024 nissan frontier pro 4 x brand new for 39k 2017 ford raptor 100k miles (cam phasers replaced) for 37k Can’t make my mind up
Honestly I'd go for the 2023 Tacoma. Solid trucks and will last forever. Much better vehicle overall than the Frontier. Will probably have issues buy a 100k mile truck to be honest. 3rd Gen Tacoma you can't beat
I just bought the 2024 off road with the premium package for 53k. This one has the upgrade package i believe you said it costs 52k. Looks like i got a deal on mine
Mexican made Junk that costs way to much and the overall quality has plummet!!!-there are much better mid sized trucks to choose from in 2024-love capitalism!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed good luck-I purchased a 2023 40th 4Runner made in Japan and you should buy a 2024 before they are gone-they will go up in value when the 4 cylinder turbo comes out soon. If I was buying a Truck today it would either be a nissan pro 4X or a GMC canyon AT4.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Watch the care car nut on youtube about this 4 cylinder turbo you must change your oil filter and air cleaner often because they run real hot.
