Do these add-ons still work for blender 4.2?

You have to set Render Mode: to Alpha Hashed, so Transparency textures look as good as in rendered mode. Also besides the missing viewport from FModel, Umodel works the exact same now

i was searching for 20min about this "render mode" but i finally found out that it's called "blend mode", i'm using blender 3.5 so maybe it changed name in the newers versions but i will write this down to anyone that might have been confused like me . thanks for the tip though, looks good in viewport now !

doesn't work it keeps saying all my file locations are read only and i keep turnning off read only for it to turn right back on

for some reason when i export the model and go into blender to look for that model file there's nothing there, i looked through all the files for it too any suggestions?

Is there anyway to re -rig it so it was less...messy? Especially with the face. I tried making a bone from scratch but they won't attach to the model and I'm not sure how to modify the facial one

I cant set the fmodel to recognise the dbd game. So I cant load the files. it says it need a valid AES key, but I already have it, but cant set the game. Basically in general>UE version* I cant choose dead by daylight. Just a bunch of unreal engine versions.

@@FelpsFGCNext to the UE versions you will see a small square box(in the right),check it,after that instead of all those versions you will see diffrent games,you will find dbd there,hope that helped!

Fmodel ain't working for me. Followed all the steps correctly and none of the game files are showing, it's just telling me "no archives found in given directory yet". Tried downloading a different linked version of Fmodel in the discord server questions-forum and that didn't fix it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

@@zyphayt AES-Key set? Have you tried the Umap file 8.0.0, it helped me for example you can find it on the dbd rendering server

So I am tryin to do The Unknown, K35 Outfit #2, but cant get the hair to work, It has only 1 file. A Base Color. Doesnt have ORM or N. How do I do this? I have played with a few settings and I am unsure how with only 1 type.

ORM isnt used for hair and N only rarely. Instead you should have BC and M or A. Check if these M/A arent in the common stuff

My skeletons when I save model, come out as ue not psk, so blender won't accept it

I fixed this in the settings, however when I save models it gives me 3-4 LOD files, none of which have the face in blender, just bones, any help would be great
