Family and health are more important than RU-vid videos. (IMO) Thank you for the update, wishing much success for The Wild Spark, and a peaceful productive year.
Sorry for your loss Amy. It's good to see you & Fable again. I understand why you have to cut back on posting and wish you the best going forward. Your new venture sounds really exciting. Be well & take care! 👍👍💖💖
Your family and mental health is more important then anything els. Take care of yourself. Hope when time is right you will make more videos on this channel :).
Pregnancy loss is so much more common than we think since it’s so…almost taboo to talk about. Both my children came after losses, one after 20 weeks. Seeing how it’s so common, you would think there would be more empathy, but it seems people expect you to just carry on without much acknowledgment for the most part. It’s wonderful to see that you’ve not just had ideas in the interim, but you’ve actually seen them through. That’s the hardest part I think, actually seeing your ideas through. Good seeing you and Fable again 🙂
I live in New England in the USA. This video of Fable made me a touch sad for her as my resident ravens have been on the nest and may have already hatched this year's babies. I was glad to see your notice in my feed. I welcome any video you send of Fable. I absolutely understand how the internet can take a back seat to real life. I am spending a lot more time trying to teach my neighbor Ravens a little Spanish. I am also practicing my "gronk" LOL. So I am hoping they someday say to me "Ola, mi amigo!" They are listening and gronk back sometimes. I hope it gives you a smile to know there is a pudgy little old lady some where in New England, out in her fields, hollering "Ola mi Amigo" and gronking because of you and Fable.
Same here in Montana! I picked Ola! So no one else could call them in and harm them. I feed them dog food. I started with last years babies and I hope to see if the family comes back! Hi Fable! And yes, time is fleeting. Make a difference whether it’s caring for family and helping the planet and being curious about crows! Sending love and peace to you🌙😍🐦⬛
As a Mainiac living in exile on the left coast, I miss New England but am making do with my scrub jays crows raven and red tailed hawks. I love the idea of a pudgy little old lady tromping the fields calling to birds. Makes me smile.😊
Update has been up less than an hour........and it's lovely to see how much love has been expressed for you , Fable and your family. Wishing you every success in your new venture 🥰 Your content and delivery are always a joy to watch.
So good to see you and Fable, and have a catch-up. Do what you need to do for you and your family. I'll be here, and may check out your other channel. I'm so sorry for your family's loss 💙💙 BOOP BOOP 🐦⬛🖤
Hi, again, Amy! I just watched the first Wild Spark video! Great job! Such beautiful filming, and your voice and commentary are wonderful! I am a 79-year-old grandma who will be watching to learn more about the flora and fauna of the British Isles, but also because I just want to support you and James! Would love to see Alfie (right name, I hope) again if you want to put him on another video. Prayers and good wishes for your family. ❤️🙏🏼‼️
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, though I am glad to hear from you. I was beginning to wonder. I'm sure your new direction will really take off! We'll be here when you upload!
Oh Amy I am thrilled to see you. And I’m so very sad for your loss. You are resilient and creative and I look forward to see what comes next! Love that you are enriching family life for others. Big love to you and yours!!!🪶
Seems 2023 was a year of loss & moving for many folks. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I've been there 4 times. You have my strength & empathy. Don't worry about this channel, though we do love to see Fable & the other birds. Focus on your family. ❤
I've got two autistic kids 5 and 7, I'd love to get out anywhere I can with mine 😊 I remember back when you became a mother too , been watching ever since , time flies 😅
I'm sorry things didn't work expecting a new addition. But I fully understand taking a step back to prioritize family. Knowing you guys are happy & healthy is more meaningful. Take care!
Hi Amy, so happy to see you and Fable again! So sorry for your loss. I subscribed to your new channel and watched the videos. They are so well done! I hope you will get loads of subscribers.
Probably won't distract my old geezer self by watching about family things elsewhere, but I simply wish to express my gratitude for all the fascinating stuff you've shared with your birds and life walking with your little one, cross the hills when you moved. Sorry for your loss. May you and your family thrive! as you continue to assist other families to do likewise. Great well being to you All.
It was such a lovely surprise to see a video from you and Fable this morning! I totally understand your RU-vid fatigue, especially given your circumstances. Take care of what's important.
Wonderful to see you and Fable again. I think of you often when I talk to the wild Ravens I feed in my front yard. I'm definitely going to check out your new venture. I do a bit with wildlife in my own backyard, and with a local wildlife rehabilitation facility.
Really lovely to see you and Fable again, have missed your videos. Sorry to hear about your loss Amy, sending everyone lots of love, best wishes and a boop boop to Fable. The Wild Spark looks awesome and have already bookmarked the site. Take care of yourself. 🐦⬛ 📖
Life drags us in all directions & we have to take care of our families/ourselves before we can do for others. I appreciate your videos & wish u the best in all your endeavors. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home, animals & life with us . 😊
Lovely to see you two, out in the sun and looking healthy! I'm so sorry to hear that you and your family experienced this loss, and it's totally understandable that you need to prioritize the important things in life along with everything else you got on your schedule. Of course we all love to get updates on your falconry work, the birds and of course the lovely Fable, so I hope for a sporadic update every now and then!
I’ve just dropped in here and there, as i know how time-consuming social media can be even if you’re just following several channels. It’s good to see you and Fable again, but of course you have to focus on your family and your new venture “The Wild Spark.” I’m terribly sorry about your loss. Please take care of yourself. Thanks for sharing Fable with us.
Fable is so beautiful! It's fantastic to see you both again after a much needed break for you all. So happy you and your family doing well. A warm hug from Eastern Canada!!😊💛
I was just thinking of Fable the other day and missing seeing you and Fable. But here you are now and it's a joy to see you. Sorry to here of the difficulties you have had. Understand where you are at now and know it's important to take care of you and your family. Congratulations on the new endeavors with the other projects. That is so wonderful you have two books published. Hoping all goes well with the new website and what you are hoping to accomplish. I do hope you can maybe every so often just pop on to say hello and share Fable with us even if it's just a short video. ❤🐦⬛❤
The books look fantastic! My very first job was in urban ecology, creating teaching resources for "field work in the city", so it's great to see that being continued! Good luck with the new channel, and best wishes to all your family!
Just found you and will enjoy watching your past vlogs. Thankyou for your efforts. I'm a Horticulturist who is now studying to become an Ornithologist/Nat med practitioner for animals with App An. Science. Folks need to be in contact with the natural world, the diversity of and esp birds need peoples help to survive what we are collectively doing to them. Folks having their interests sparked with things like this is how they open their awareness to the plight of feathers in the beginning/usually. Wishing you and your family including Fable :) as much reign as you need to reach your mountain top. Special hug to the broody Fable. From down under, Raven
❤Thank you for the update on you, your family, and Fable. Love the videos, post only when you are able, we will be here and will wait. Best wishes on the new venture. Many prayers for your loss. 🙏
Amy, I always assume when you're not uploading videos here it's because you have more important stuff going on. It's wonderful to see you again. Thank you for your uplifting presence on youtube. Sending much love and encouragement, and luck. Emma
So great to see you guys again! I’m glad you’re doing something so wonderful with nature - will definitely go follow the new channel. I experienced a loss like yours as well several years ago. Hugs. ❤️ Fable looks bigger - is it just me? She’s just as beautiful as ever.
What a lovely surprise to see you & Fable! I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is understandable that your family comes first. We will be here whenever you can show up. Love & blessings to you all.
So grateful to see you and Fable and that your family is doing well. Your new venture sounds fabulous for all the families in the UK. Good luck! 🎉 Post when you can but we all understand for sure! Just so we know that Fable and you all are healthy and well 🙏🏻
Some third graders in Connecticut in the US are going to be learning about Fable. We're teaching Norse mythology. Odin's ravens were Huginn and Muninn and I thought teaching them about Fable and her lovely mimicking talent video would be a great way to tie science and mythology together.
So good to hear Fable again!! We use her vocab constantly in our house!!! So sorry to hear about your loss. So much harder to cope with than people understand unless they've been there too. All the very best with the business.
Lovely to see you and Fable again. Sorry to hear of your loss. Of course you must do what is best for your family. Love your new project The Wild Spark - such a good grassroots way to get us all back in touch with our basic earth/animal natures. Tuning us in to our planet and nature is always to the good :) thank you for sharing your world with us.
It's so nice to have a bit of a catch up with you and Fable. Your new project sounds wonderful, such a great resource for families! I am so sorry for your loss as well, be sure and take all the time you need to care for yourself and your family, we'll still be here😊
We have missed you, but been waiting right here for you ! Thanks for sharing what you have been up too, so sorry for the loss you endured. Well wishes to you, James & Alfie, I bet he has grown ! Have a great week x
Always love seeing Fable, your other birds, the countryside and you, but life is crazy. Good luck with your family and business endeavors. I definitely will check out Wild Spark!
Fables feathers are gorgeous (even with the little floof going on in the front, heh). Some angles they are so shiny and illuminating, other angles it’s almost like she’s painted with VantaBlack! Can’t see discernible features. So amazing.
Great to see you! Love the Wild Sparks approach.I'm in the US and encourage everyone I know to get out into the wild as well. Great for ones self and soul. Good luck with new endeavor and I'll keep watching.🩷Thanks for sharing💕
2:24 I can't confirm this behaviour for ravens, but all the crows here in Berlin started to collect fibrous material for building their nests just a few days ago. You don't see crows eating or playing these days, each of them has fibrous plant material in its beak. 😃 P.S.: I think Fable expected you to take the sticks with your mouth when she was on your shoulder. 🤭😂
I am happy to see you and fable again. I wish you the best of luck on your new endeavour with The Wild Spark. More people could certainly do with enjoying the outdoors. I hope you and your family are well, they are definitely the main priority. Your videos have made me appreciate the birds around me much more, especially crows and ravens (I have not seen falcons, hawks, or owls much, but I would love to someday). Take care, and I hope to see you again in a new video someday, whenever you are able to make one.
